What is it with the AUGUST 6 MEMO??

A pre-planned fallback talking point. Their previous talking point was that Condi wouldn't testify under oath. Well, that one blew up in their faces big-time. So they'll now bleat that, because the Bush Admin won't release the August 6th memo, they still must have something to hide. It's a lie, but it gives them a new line of attack in their core message - to try and convince American that Bush lies to them.

And if the Bush Admin were to release everthing relating to 9-11, the Dems would subsequently complain that Bush is trying to hide something by providing too much information to go through in a timely basis. It doesn't make sense, but, then again, it's not supposed to.

The entire country was effected by 9-11. My heart goes to those who saw this and have to live with the memory and of course to the families who lost people. But those people who lost their lives or were injured, were also friends, work mates, church members...and it goes on and on like the lapping of waves pn the shore. I have a son in New York. He said he still looks up when he hears a plane. Injuries go beyond the physical. We've all been injured.

Dr Rice was very interesting interview on KSFO radio 6+ yrs ago, while working for Stanford U., in the early morning hours on the Lee Rodgers show. It was my first chance to hear her live & I was SUPER impressed.

Glad to see & hear she's doing even better now! The USA needs her knowledge and skill more than ever!
