Dear God. That Gorelick person is yammering on about semantics.... Get AQ or eliminate the threat of AQ.... the end result is the same.

Here we go, the Administration that minced the definition of what "is, is," is now asking Condi where she got the idea that "eliminating the threat of Al Queda" meant "elimination Al Queda." DUH! You can't eliminate the threat a-hole unless you eliminate the individuals who are creating the threat. Are these Dems for real?
To: Howlin
Dick Clark needs to be charged with perjury. Condi is great! I don't see how anyone could believe clark of Condi. He can barely speak a simple sentence.

"I am under the distinct impression that they are DNC plants who were sent to cheer on the Democrats as they go down to the gutter to smear Bush and make it seem as only the Democrats are asking the hard questions." Just so everyone knows how this planted audience thingy works, here's the drill. The DNC contacts Dem families of 9/11 victims and anyone else that can make themselves available. They are given free airfare or other first-class transportation, whisked to the committee room HOURS early so they can occupy the lion's share of the seats, and then are paid a handsome stipend to act as a partisan audience. The on-the-ground organization and manipulation of audiences is something the Dems have done for decades.

I would guess you had to be invited, but I don't know.
The Dems obviously called up all the activists at Peaceful Tomorrows and had Teresa Heinz pay their airfare (properly laundering the funds through her Heinz foundations and The Tides.)

Filth indeed.

Gorelick sounds as if she's trying to defend the Clinton program. That's is exactly what she's trying to do.
To: Pukin Dog
He could very well be in perjury trouble.

Not just splitting hairs, but trying to say that getting rid of AQ was a Clinton original idea...WHAT A BOGUS LIE.
To: cajungirl
Gorelick asked why we didn't put troops on the ground in Afghanistan BEFORE 9/11? The SAME 'rats that complained about doing so AFTER would have screamed bloody murder and called for impeachment.

We are going to get hit on the domestic front "We were in office 233 days and we did not start changing the structure of the FBI.Why didn't do it "all these years".Catastrophic events are what force looking at these problems(FBI,CIA,etc)Dick Clarke did not suggest the changes be done?or something like this....
Gorelick says elimination of Al Queda threat ,not Al Queda(BIG difference Gorelick says} Clinton DID have a plan,,asked DOD to look at it Instant Resolve.
