"I'm still voting for Pat, but I'm beginning to wonder if there is some truth in the Specter ad that says Toomey ignores constituents."huh.
Lemme see if I got this right: you've made [that] judgment based *in* the heat of a campaign against a virtual machine like Spectre?
A campaign mind you, that's undoubtably & woefully understaffed & underfunded?
Gimme a break with your *expectations* and logic, will ya.
...I'm beginning to wonder about you, mac.

"Thanks. There was so much reasoning and logic behind that post that we could not fail to be persuaded by it"
Obviously you can't be persuaded anyway and are happy with the current Representative. I'm not, and given the publicity of his actions in the past I don't feel a need to make a long list here. If you aren't familiar with the arguments then you are lost in the soup.

April 27th will prove to be a watershed event in Pennsylvania politics, and will send a clear message to conservatives-in-name-only in Washington DC. The people are indeed becoming wise to your shenanigans. Just ask Arlen Specter (if you can find him).Bump! Excellent post all around. Keep up the good work, it's grass roots workers like you that'll get the RINO out of office!

Considering how warm it is today, I'd rather not be lost in soup. A cold soda might be appreciated though.

Actually it is true. I agree with Toomey on most issues and admire his skills as a politician, but he has been invisible in this district. It's the truth.
To: Landru
You can wonder about me all you want, but I fail to see where I've displayed any logical inconsistency.
I want Toomey to win. If I didn't, I wouldn't have e-mailed him or inform conservatives at the local coffee shop about why they should vote for Toomey. I wouldn't have put the Toomey bumper sticker on my car. If incorrect contact information is being purposely distributed by a Specter mole, I thought the Toomey campaign might want to know. Being under-funded or understaffed is no reason for ignoring a hard-core conservative area. I'll probably print some of the pro-life material available on Toomey's site for distribution at the polls.
I would hate to see Pat lose votes he could easily have won.

Saw two Toomey signs today. None for Arlen. I told a friend to vote for Pat April 27. She said she planned to and hates Specter.
I have yet to meet anyway who said they are voting for Specter (of course don't read more into that a fwiw.)

Toomey is also on board for the NRST. We need a good leader in the US Senate on this one.

What do you know about Pennsylvania? Would you like it if I told you whom to vote for in Texas primaries?Spare us conservatives from out of state. I distinctly remember your RINO a$$ yelling at every Tom McClintock supporter on here about California and you claimed that it did not matter that you weren't from MY STATE. What were the odds that I would come on this thread and see your dithering idiocy backing another liberal Republican?
Pretty good I'd say.
My state now has forced through the same bond issue Gray Davis and Bustamante proposed, cut only a fraction of the budget, and at not quite the 6 month mark, the liberal Republican has started sneaking a second illegal immigrant license bill (1160) throught the Leg, and (R)nold is already floating the trial balloon of raising our outrageously high taxes because he was lying all along. The GOP out here will be damaged for a generation when this ego driven fool is finished with his term, and its all thanks to sell outs like yourself.
Any PA lurkers reading this should realize that RINOs like yourself are a cancer.

To what is this a reference?

"He is also gay, pro-abortion, etc. I suppose that is your type of Republican?"
Arlen Spector is gay?

I believe that we'll pick up seats in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, and retain most of our other seats, so that this will we can overcome a Specter loss. If that's the case, then I would love to see Specter gone, even if it means a PA Dem takes his place.
My only real concern is that the Republicans retain their majority in the Senate.

Obviously you are doing what you can. Sometimes campaigns have holes simply because that cant cover every area ...
"I decided to go get the sign, but the contact number I was given proved to be bogus."
bogus number? I wonder if that is in any way related to the bogus pat toomey website that specter created.
yes, specter was that low! His team bought the pattoomey.com website (I believe I read it in Human Events). It redirects to yahoo.com ...
go here instead:
http://pattoomey.org/ http://toomeyforsenate.com/ county coordinators may be a way to go if you havent already ...
if that dont work, go to nearby counties, get them on the stick. ...
