No answer. There was no question.
Now comes Ben-Veniste, slickster for the Dems.

I don't know enough about Tenet's abilities to state whether we should have confidence in him at the Company or not. But I do know that Poppy, who has a bit of knowledge about the CIA, strongly recommended him to W.Poppy is also a little too close with the Saudis for my comfort, and he did have James Baker in his Cabinet, so I don't just blindly follow whatever he says and does.

Kerrey I think is a straight shooter. He did bash Clinton plenty. It would be wise of us to listen to his criticism, and either accept it or reject it on it's face. , I'll give Kerrey credit for asking tough questions .. but I still don't trust him
He is a Clinton boy and I get the gut feeling this yelling he's been doing the last couple of days is an act to look nonpartisan and nothing else
He keeps yelling about Condi not tesifying .. But FAILS to mention she met with them for 4 HOURS
This act is just for the cameras

Don't forget that HILLARY was deeply involved in taking down Nixon...I believe there was some very derogatory remarks on her role (that her proposed course was illegal).

An interesting 'Fox fact' that was on the banner a few minutes ago said that Tenet started his career working for Sen. John Heinz And Senator John Heinz was a Republican

Tenet is a closet Dem. It is painfully obvious from the sympathetic questioning from the Dem commission members. Tenet may have even given them the questions to ask.

Kristen Breitweiser, wife of Ronald Breitweiser, 39 She's been out to blame Bush from day one. She gets a lot of press here in central NJ.
To: TomGuy
It seems the tone the Dems are trying to develop is:
Condi bad, inefficient, incompetent.
Clarke hero, unsung hero, hero to the masses, who wasn't listened to but who had all the right answers and would have won the War on Terrorism if Condi would have just listened to him and GW would have appointed him Homeland Security Secretary.
[That about covers it.]

"After" is about America "after" 9/11. Brill wrote it over real time, so you can see the greed building in some of the victims.
Brill goes to great lengths to soften them, but is unsuccessful.

Nor do I. I don't think the fact that Poppy recommended him means he doesn't have an agenda that is not in our best interests (i.e. an unusual affinity for the Saudis), but I do think it means he is more than an incompetent hack. Poppy knows the spook business, and I tend to doubt he would strongly commend an incompetent partisan Dem to W.
