This commission is certainly nothing about preventing another terrorist attack. It's about attacking the current administration for taking on the terrorists! Madeline Albright certainly played dumb yesterday, didn't she. Learned how to say "I don't recall" from the Hildebeast.

I find it ridiculous that so much of the hearing prep and questions are based on books.

I read about that one as well. We thought that a United Arab Emirates Prince was at the same location as where we thought Bin Laden was. We were almost 100% sure the prince was there, and were less certain that Bin Laden was there.

Tenet, Rummy, actually back the Clintonistas on this one. That was too risky a shot. The political blowback on being wrong, and killing the prince would have been a mess.

OMG. Rest assured that Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein will be all over TV telling us exactly why that is not true; they "own" the Watergate story, ya know, and their reputations depend on it being the worst in history!
