What Spain did in the last election is hardly "appeasement". It is reality. Would over 200 Spainards have been dead if they did not have troops in Iraq and backed the USA? Yes or No? Would 3000 Americans have been murdered on 9/11 if we didn't have troops in Saudi Arabia and backed dictators all over that region? No. And that is not "blaming America" as Buchanan so ruffed up the stupid Hannity on his own radio show today.

My grandmother used to tell me about how she felt when she woke up one morning and heard on the radio that France fell to Germany. She said it was just the day or so before that the Nazi's were hitting Paris and she thought, what? Did they not even try to fight?

I know EXACTLY how she felt that day when I actually heard the news Monday that Spain voted for Socialists because of the attacks. Somone called in on a show today and said that he talked to someone in Spain and asked them why? She said, well, if you don't bother them, the terrorists will leave you alone. Oh, ignorance is surely bliss, is it not?

The people who scream about the United States backing dictators in the world are the same people who scream when the US removes dictators.

The only thing that would have prevented terrorism from cropping up in the Middle East would have been Western occupation from the Middle Ages on. Keeping our hands off of the Islamic theocracies has been the problem. It's called appeasement. Direct action must be taken sooner or later. We are taking that action now. This is still sooner than "Old Europe" would like, but too late for some of us who have been wincing every time an Islamothug hijacks a plane, kills a hostage, or blows up a building.

We have a self-declared. The only thing for us to do is to defeat them. Our problem has been a lack of action in the past. That is now being corrected.

Of course your blaming America as all liberals do. No matter that we were over in the middle east, nothing excuses 9/11 NOTHING. I have family fighting in Iraq.

Actually, I'm a former Buchanan Brigadier and I thought Pat had is butt handed to him by Hannity today. It was embarassing, frankly. Pat sounded old and tired today. I felt bad for him.
