A London-based Arabic newspaper says it has received claim of responsibility for the Madrid train bombings issued in the name of al-Qaida.

WASHINGTON, Jan. 5 - The FBI has extended the December 3 terrorism alert in the United States through March 11, U.S. officials announced, as the U.S. steps up military activities in and around Somalia to prevent it from becoming a safe haven for terrorists, according to newspaper reports.

Today would be the 912th day, but there were still 911 days in between them. Who knows... maybe they did forget this was a leap year or they're bad at math!

My guess is that he'll include something along the lines that if we hadn't gone over to Iraq to kill and maim an innocent and peace loving nomadic people, then AQ would not have been compelled to lash out and kill. It's our fault for continuing the cycle of violence.
