NEW YORK -- An American citizen was arrested Thursday on charges she acted as an Iraqi spy, prosecutors said.

Susan Lindauer, 41, was arrested in her hometown of Takoma Park, Md., and was to appear in court later in the day in Baltimore, authorities in New York said.

Not necessarily. Just because she worked for someone doesn't mean those employers were in any way involved in illegal activity. Normally I would be appalled at all the flippant guilt by association taking place on this thread, but given how that has been the Democrat/media modus operandi for years("Halliburton, Halliburton, Enron, Halliburton"), I'm not shedding a tear. Dems are reaping what they sowed. But let's not get too carried away just yet. Time will tell, as will diligent Freeper digging.

What raises my eyebrows the most is not that she worked for CMB, but the first response put out by CMB's office. They didn't simply distance themselves, they put out a ludicrous statement that CMB doesn't remember her election year press secretary from just 8 years ago. THAT is what suggests to me that CMB may have something to hide. Or maybe her office just panicked. We'll see.
