The "outraged" faces we've seen on television the past two days are more than they seem. Family members of 9/11 victims have been interviewed ad nauseum on television and in newspapers far and wide--Among those 9/11 family members quoted in newspapers and in television interviews across the nation are people like Rita Lasar and Colleen Kelly. Both Lasar and Kelly are leaders of a group called September 11 Families for Peaceful Tomorrows, which on it's surface sounds innocuous enough.But when the connections are peeled away like the layers of an onion, the true picture emerges. A news conference Friday by Peaceful Tomorrows, a group of victims' relatives, was arranged by MoveOn.org, a Berkeley-based group that has been running ads critical of Bush. The relatives questioned the use of the images for political gain.

``When we heard they were upset about these ads, we thought their concerns should be heard,'' said Peter Schurman, executive director of MoveOn. ``These are families of people who died. They are upset that people who were killed in these attacks are having their images used for political purposes.''

I heard a rumor that the White House is really p*ssed about these phony news reports.

GW and Rove need to take a page out of the old Clinton playbook.

Whenever the scent of a scandal or rumor was about to emerge during the Clinton era, Clinton had a crony in front of the media within seconds, not days later.

GW/Rove, by delaying their responses to these attacks, allow them to settle and sink in to the psyches. Not good.

Remember how quickly the 'liar Bush' attacks stuck.

GW/Rove should have an attack team in-place 24/7 because these attacks will not cease and must be responded to immediately. Those that 'settle in' for days are causing permanent damage.
