Yes, it was good. Not the greatest movie of all time, but well acted, good effects, captured the spirit of the time and you always believed it was a real crew on a real vessel.
I know WAY too much about the period (have helped design and test some Age of Sail wargames) so there are quite a few historical inaccuracies, but not more than I can put up with.

Yeah, we all want threads to go certain ways, but that doesn't always happen. It's a live chat kind of thing when this stuff happens, and with so many people posting at one time, it's gonna turn into chaos. Just roll with it. ;)
