Water splashing vs winged beats and giant elephants.....

How the heck is it not noticable no matter how good? LOL

When compared with most of the "intellectuals" in Hollyweird, a small brown fruit truly seems brilliant.

Well, that explains a lot.

Anything associated with Lord of the Rings deserves an Oscar like America deserves Michael Moore...

Single best song ever written (yes, IMHO): theme from the Pink Panther.

You know, I really liked the first two, but the third one I thought I had been duped.

My simple though process was: OK the story line of two was that evil guys outnumbered the good guys, and the good guys had to hole up in city carved out of mountainside.

Then I saw three, and the story line of three was that evil guys outnumbered the good guys, and the good guys had to hole up in city carved out of mountainside . . .

I really regretted seeing it in the theater.

Then the techie lied to us.

Or was wrong. They've had to hire a lot of idiots recently. They're probably looking to India. ;o)

Because he said that 'DN knows what we watch'....if we don't watch MTV it has less viewership so can get less money for its commericals. We had wanted MTV removed from our feed and were told that was not possible.

They only know what tier you have bought (Top60, Top120 etc)....not the channel you have on at any given time.

Viacom DEMANDS that MTV is in the lowest tier. Same with Disney and ESPN etc.

Sheesh, give it up, some people actually like to have fun.

Wow! What abuse! Remind me never to ask a favor of a fellow Freeper again!

I'm no whiner - I simply don't have the TIME (or stomach)to watch the Oscars (I'm writing a design document for a consulting job). If I don't have the time to watch the Oscars, what makes you think I have the time to keep track of a thread with THOUSANDS of posts?

I can occassionally take a short break and flip over to FR, but I'm certain to miss something interesting in a thread with that many replies.

So I figured that one Freeper would look out for his fellow Freepers and post a summary - sue me. Or, post pictures of babies crying. Or throw other insults. Whatever suits your fancy.

It's just not what I'd expect from a community of friends.

He thinks he is. I sure don't. Even less now that he wants to make the Six Million Dollar Man into a comedy starring... Jim Carrey, of course.
