Or was wrong. They've had to hire a lot of idiots recently. They're probably looking to India. ;o)

Because he said that 'DN knows what we watch'....if we don't watch MTV it has less viewership so can get less money for its commericals. We had wanted MTV removed from our feed and were told that was not possible.

They only know what tier you have bought (Top60, Top120 etc)....not the channel you have on at any given time.

Viacom DEMANDS that MTV is in the lowest tier. Same with Disney and ESPN etc.

The guy was American and was very clear in assuring us that our not watching MTV would achieve what we wanted......i.e. to hurt their profits.

My husband is on the phone right now checking into it.

Okay....we were misinformed by the other guy....we just learned that they only know what channels are in the tier we have purchased.

So he either lied or was wrong and led us to believe that we could have an effect.


I really wish there was some way we would only have to pay for FoxNewsChannel as that is what our TV is tuned to 90% of the time.
