So far Billy is the only one not behaving himself tonight. He's jabbed Mel, and that last one about the Texas Nat'l guard was not funny.

Why do they think jokes like that are funny, then again maybe they don't and just want to get their liberal bias across somehow. It's pretty sad they don't have enough talent anymore to really be a comedian and tell funny stories.

I do like Robin Williams though, he's hysterical although sometimes crude.

Absolutely! My cat is so thrilled with the show he's laying in front of the fireplace, snoring so loud I can hear him in the kitchen. Maybe he's the smart animal here...

We would have bought tickets even if we didn't go - just to show our support as well.

It crossed my mind to do that also as we left the theater this afternoon... :-)

"HE RIPPED THAT STORY OFF FROM A FRENCH CHILDREN'S BOOK"

Has that been proven in a court of law or is it an old book? I remember when some people tried to say J.K. Rowling stole the idea for Harry Potter and that got thrown out.

No... as I said elsewhere, political jokes are cool. I'm with you 100%. : )

I was responding to what appeared to be over-the top Bush-bashing, which I don't expect from Billy. I was glad to see it wasn't really - just the traditional political humor. : )

Anybody catch what Robin Williams said about Mel Gibson?

Crystal said something (via Williams) like Bendito or Gibson - who's more macho. Bendito, is more macho, Gibson is more <5-second-delay-cut>

I actually like Crystal better than Williams. Williams always seems like he's had one too many candy bars- or too many espressos.
