As I said, they would vote for Saddam Hussein if he could beat Bush. They have no ethics, no morality, no patriotism.

The way things stand the USA is headed for CIVIL WAR 2. I can through back just as much hate at the DEMS given what they have said about President Bush. I wonder how hard they have to look to find these real hate filled people. Most average folks have more important things to worry about that hate way these people seem to. I also wonder about some of these conservatives who are posting on FR and other sites. What they say makes me think that they are liberals out to stir up some trouble. I also think that all these folks fail to take into account that their are just as many folks who think 180 from them. BUSH 2004!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes, and all those disgruntled Florida voters let their feelings be known too. They re-elected Jeb Bush governor!

"the stuff the AP lives for. "

Yeah, two weeks ago the same "Judy Donovan" was being quoted by AP reporter Ron Fournier.
here

..."I don't care who wins" the Democratic primary, said Judy Donovan of Tucson, Arizona "I'd get my dog to run. I'm not kidding. I would get Mickey Mouse in there. Anybody but Bush."

(Wouldn't it be funny if these people started a union and made AP pay them residuals?)

My schtick? What are you talking about? I've been here on FR for over a year, and while I don't agree with everything Bush has done I voted for him last time and will again (not that it will do any good, I'm in Vt).

I'm just reporting what I see, bucko, and it's got me real worried.

Sorry if you can't handle an observation made by a fellow Republican, but the undercurrent of dissatisfaction with Bush is visible everywhere you look these days and we ignore it at our peril.

I think you are correct. Just as BushI abandoned many conservatives and their views, BushII is going down the same path. He and his hand picked party officials have been less than supportive of conservative values. The ploy of trianglelation to put down conservatives and get the support of liberals has completely failed as it has brought about the total contempt of the left and endangered Bush's standing among conservatives.

He has an amnesty proposal??

Yes. He calls it the "Guest Worker" program. It is a renewable three year legalized resident program. After that time they are "expected" to go home. Supposedly like they were "expected" not to come here illegally in the first place, and were "expected" to leave one they realized that it was pointed out to them that they were illegal.

They have been given amnesty to work here legally for three years (reward for breaking our immigration laws), and that can be renewed. And if they violate it, there is no proposal on how to enforce their removal since we don't even do that now. Oh, and whatever kids they have while here will be citizens by default.

Most Americans recognize that as Amnesty.

Though you could call it a bucket of chili cheese fries if you would prefer. It's still amnesty.

You're just making that up aren't you?

Nope. I believe he even called a press conference to address it. And I think he mentioned it in the State of the Union Address too.

Where you been Porterville?

Or are you flat out lying?

About what?

d what is an alient?

It's a typo. Picking on typos's are often referred to the "last grasp of the intellectually bankrupt". Though I don't agree. It's all fair game.

You caught me on that one. Way to go.

I apologize for the typo.

"It's true. I know many who are incenced about the illegal alient amnesty."

That's true. And if he signs a new AWB bill, or renews the expiring one, he's finished. The race is way too close as it is, and Bush can't afford to alienate his supporters. But a AWB bill and amnesty for illegals will wipe out any chance he may have had. Sorry folks, but that is the truth. Look at the numbers (i.e., electoral college numbers): All the Dim has to do is keep the Gore states and add one more -- only one more! -- and the Dim wins the presidency. That's a simple but unavoidable fact.

I can't quite remember what it was, but there is a phrase I have for this twit that rhymes with duck off. Oh well, I'll remember it eventually.

And, of course, putting John Kerry in the White House will fix the illegal alien problem, right?

Wrong.

So I have a question. If we do want to fix the illegal alien problem, who do we vote for?

A voice of sanity, at last.

Luis, I don't know how you stand watching the bullet issue crowd swear that they are going to stay home on Election Day. However, consider this:

The fanaticism of the base voters in the Democratic Party are sewing the seeds of defeat. The regular Democrats, the one's who aren't going to the polls (that is, most Democrats) aren't as angry as the press let's on. When all is said and done, Kerry scares our base voters enough to turn the Republican base voters out. Check out Common Tator's take on the base vote here.

One last thing. The hatred of Bush is the kind of emotion that one could easily turn off independents and soft Democrats. I know it will turn off even the RINO's, who don't like harsh language.

Most voters are looking for two things: a growing economy and victory in this war. Bush offers both. There can be no gainsaying that.

As long as the economy is growing, and the people can see that it is growing in their pocketbooks, Bush is almost certain to win. But he has to insure a larger than average victory by conducting a vigorous campaign.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Hmmm, I don't think so. Everyone I know is pulling out all stops to re-elect Bush. Even the people who are normally non-political are starting to get really fed up with the lies the media is trying to shove down their throats.

I expect huge numbers of people who have never voted before to show up at election time. It really is going to stun the dems who, I would imagine, will spend buckets of money trying to buy votes off the street. LOL, all that money will be down the tubes.

They're polling Democratic primary voters...what do you expect them to say. Hey, I said worse about Clinton back then.

The difference is the AP never would have reported such things about Clinton.

"Bush is as innocuous a president in terms of personality that we've had in a long time. But that doesn't matter. He's the symbol of leftist failure, so he's the target of hate. They would rather do that than confront their own failure."

That's a good observation. But the problem Bush has is simple arithmetic: All the Dim candidate has to do is keep the Gore states (which is likely) and pick up one Bush state (which is also likely). I don't like it, but there it is.

Maybe it's just who I hang out with, then. I've just personally seen an awful lot of people who previously were enthusiatic about him threaten to defect this year. Maybe they won't, when push comes to shove, but there's been enough talk (and ranting) that I find it alarming.

Hey, guess what? There's a Judy Donovan who sits on the editorial board of the local paper in Tucson. What do you want to bet that she's the same woman?

Anyone game for a proper fisking of this article?

That's a simple but unavoidable fact.

That fact can change as this race develops.. All President Bush had to do is win one or two of the states he lost by just a few hunderd votes and the dymanics change again.....

I don't think it will be that close once the campaign begins in earnest.... It's been all democrats for the past few months with their primaries, etc. The Bush Campaign will begin to unleash the dollars in the competitive states before long.... Then lets see how the numbers stack up.

GO RALPHIE GO
