What Bush vs Kerry is really all about
Jim Robinson
Posted on 02/16/2004 8:16:44 PM PST by Jim Robinson
Forget the current hullabaloo regarding the thirty some odd year old service records of the two candidates and all the other hysterical, hypocritical, hyperbolic horse hockey being raised by the Democrats and their operatives.
Here's the commonsense bottom line of what the coming election is about:
Either we re-elect President Bush or we allow President Kerry and the Democrats to surrender our national sovereignty, our national security and our national defense to the United Nations and other so-called world government bodies. The Democrats do not believe that war is sometimes necessary to defend the nation and or our national interests. The Democrats do not believe that the United States has the right to self-defense. The Democrats do not care about our national security or defending our national sovereignty. It's not in their game plan. In fact their game plan includes acquiescing to the United Nations, a world court and a world government. There's absolutely no doubt about it. It's in the record.
Either we re-elect President Bush or we allow President Kerry and the Democrats to increase our taxes and continue increasing our taxes until they totally destroy our economy and our ability to compete in world markets. Bush is a sworn tax cutter. Kerry is a sworn tax raiser. No doubt about it. It's in the record.
Either we re-elect President Bush or we allow President Kerry and the Democrats to kiss off our traditional man/woman marriage and from this point on it'll be anything goes. Bush defends traditional family values and a moral society. Kerry promotes the feminist/abortionist/homosexualist agenda, no matter how absurd, perverse, abhorrent or evil. No doubt about it. It's in the record.
Either we re-elect President Bush or we allow President Kerry and the Democrats to appoint and confirm nothing but NOW/NAMBLA/Globalist approved feminist/abortionist/homosexualist liberal activist judges. Bush will appoint judges who will abide by the Constitution. Kerry and the Democrats will appoint and confirm only liberal activist judges. Allow this and we can kiss our Constitution and what's left of our national sovereignty and freedom goodbye. No doubt about it. It's in the record. Period. End of story.

I know there are a lot of airheads out there, but you'd be amazed at how many good kids there really are. They should be nourished and encouraged to vote--republican, of course (smile). Mary

Allow this and we can kiss our Constitution and what's left of our national sovereignty and freedom goodbye. As to what we are gonna do about it, we have to be as active as possible, 24/7 until the election. Letters to the editors, calls and letters to biased news orgs, etc.
We cannot let the RATs dominate the media spin.

Fred's on record as suporting Bush's defeat this year; he thinks his reelection would be the worst thing that could happen to this country.

I rather played on that by asking what the Presidency of Kerry would be like for this nation.

Kids will always tend to be airheads but it is experience that reinforces the lessons they absorbed in their youth from great principles that make them strong. I am certainly proud of the kids that are taking a stand and I am impressed that many more are standing up. After all when the raping of our society becomes unsutainable it will be up to them to rebuild it and challenge the notions that guide us down the dark road of socialism. History has shown that they are capable when push comes to shove so I am not completely without hope for them just not so terribly optimistic that common sense will all of a sudden return without some inevitable need for it.

"Perhaps I am overly optimistic, but I'm basing it on the polls that are coming from a variety of sources, and my own contact with large numbers of high school and college kids."
Well you have more experience than me in that area as I do not work with a large number of this age group directly so I'll take your word on it. I am certainly glad to hear that this is what you're seeing first hand. I hope that they continue to understand what is at stake and that good people like yourself remain around to guide them.
In this sense there is fun in being wrong because I like surprises, especially really good ones like this if it holds. GW was the best surprise I had in a long time and boy this one would be even better.

Thanks, Jim.

There have been a large number of prophecies in the last few years that speaks of this younger generation and how they will usher in revival. We all see the world in its natural state, but none of us has a clue as to what God is planning for our nation. I think some great things are going to be happening, changes in government, judicial system, changes in people themselves. It's a great time to be alive!

Agreed, Jim Robinson! Precisely what I know also to be absolutely true. Pouty sit-at-home conservatives gave us eight years of Clinton. They will be traitors to America if they pull that stunt again.

Bush can nail Kerry but he has to understand what drives JFK.On today's Hannity radio show, FLee Levin asked some NY Congressperson what Kerry would do to advance the war on terror. The Congressperson had no answer.

I did not expect that much!
Aren't expectations such fickle things.

Hopefully, by the time Kerry figures it out, Bush will have won the race.

I have put aside the issue of illegal immigration for now for two reasons:
1. Now is not the time and I know we won't get a thing accomplished in an election year
2. Although I disagree with my President on it and maybe a few other things, I do know he saved us! I know this because I've poured my heart into my second passionate issue, terrorism.
There is no way and we all know it, those of us who supported "W" with our hearts before, but Gore would have 'gored' us, we would not be here posting right now IMO!
Kerry I feel is even worse. I cannot abandon Bush against a Kennedy shill, from a Kennedy state, that has not ONCE even addressed the issue of Homeland Defense! I will be putting myself behind Bush and encourage my friends to do the same.
The Dems will be cheating and fighting dirtier than ever in the Kerry camp! Hilliary, Bill, all of the loathsome creatures will be rabid in this CamPain! And Hitlery just may be the VP choice!
I've spent weeks going over this since it was apparent Kerry would be the nominee and what has broken my heart even more was how people turned on us who opposed Bush on his immigration stance. For us to be under attack right here at our conservative homebase was something I never expected and has made me withdrawn. We've lost some very good longtime Freeper's and it just was not necessary or called for, but then again it is just my opinion.
