Forget the current hullabaloo regarding the thirty some odd year old service records of the two candidates and all the other hysterical, hypocritical, hyperbolic horse hockey being raised by the Democrats and their operatives.
Here's the commonsense bottom line of what the coming election is about:
Either we re-elect President Bush or we allow President Kerry and the Democrats to surrender our national sovereignty, our national security and our national defense to the United Nations and other so-called world government bodies. The Democrats do not believe that war is sometimes necessary to defend the nation and or our national interests. The Democrats do not believe that the United States has the right to self-defense. The Democrats do not care about our national security or defending our national sovereignty. It's not in their game plan. In fact their game plan includes acquiescing to the United Nations, a world court and a world government. There's absolutely no doubt about it. It's in the record.
Either we re-elect President Bush or we allow President Kerry and the Democrats to increase our taxes and continue increasing our taxes until they totally destroy our economy and our ability to compete in world markets. Bush is a sworn tax cutter. Kerry is a sworn tax raiser. No doubt about it. It's in the record.
Either we re-elect President Bush or we allow President Kerry and the Democrats to kiss off our traditional man/woman marriage and from this point on it'll be anything goes. Bush defends traditional family values and a moral society. Kerry promotes the feminist/abortionist/homosexualist agenda, no matter how absurd, perverse, abhorrent or evil. No doubt about it. It's in the record.
Either we re-elect President Bush or we allow President Kerry and the Democrats to appoint and confirm nothing but NOW/NAMBLA/Globalist approved feminist/abortionist/homosexualist liberal activist judges. Bush will appoint judges who will abide by the Constitution. Kerry and the Democrats will appoint and confirm only liberal activist judges. Allow this and we can kiss our Constitution and what's left of our national sovereignty and freedom goodbye. No doubt about it. It's in the record. Period. End of story.
I voted for GW because I thought he believed in the same things that I did.
I was wrong.
He has done a great job as Commander-in-Chief, he was great post 9/11 and I was behind him with Iraq, though the "peace" may end up being worse than the war.
But as far as I'm concerned he has been a massive failure on the economy. He is a free trader and makes no bones about it, 100% committed to outsourcing US jobs as well.
Don't even get me started about his amnesty for illegals so they can take the famous "jobs that Americans don't want" crap.
I almost wish we could have a split Presidency, GW would be in charge of keeping the al-Quida terrorists at bay while some other Republican that gives a crap about jobs and working people(is that an oxymoron?) could run things domestically.
Oh well, live and learn I guess.
Thanks for the ping nic.
Y'all have a good week.
As any real conservative would be. I think you have your philosophies mixed up. You are truly a populist in the same mold as PJB and Huey P. Long. You are not in any way a conservative. There is nothing wrong with that but I think you are very confused as to where you belong.
If "free trade"= conservative and that means dragging America into the gutter with the workers paradise in Red China or the slums of third world India or Mexico then yeah, I'm definitely not a conservative.
Complacency is the fastest road to extinction.
Imagine what our country would be if our founding fathers took that same attitude. In order for change to happen, you have to be willing to be a catalyst for change, and stand up for what's right. But because no one is listening to you you want to give up? Sitting at home in November, letting the chips fall where they may, isn't the solution. By sitting home in November, not only are you tarnishing one of the greatest rights given to Americans, but you're also tarnishing the lives of the millions who fought and died so that you can vote- no matter who it is you vote for.
George Bush honorably served his country during the Vietnam War, but didn't get any medals.
George Bush "We will never seek a permission slip to defend the security of the United States."
John Kerry served during the Vietnam War, won many medals, then threw some one else's medals back in his country's face.
John Kerry accused his fellow soldiers of rape, baby killing and torture, and his country of war crimes.
John Kerry Im an internationalist, Kerry told (The Crimson in 1970.) Id like to see our troops dispersed through the world only at the directive of the United Nations.
America needs a leader with morals, honor, and vision. Not a leader who will ask for a UN permission slip to protect America.
Bush/Cheney in 2004.

These companies realize the importance of their security systems and monetary issues associated with outsourcing to a third party. Clearly, outsourcing sensitive data is not the same as outsourcing widgets. Only those companies looking for instant payback now employ this tactic, and those in management who suggest these practices are beginning to feel the pressure from the expensive job of rewriting code.
It's slowly happening everyday, of course, those who only see doom and gloom expect the government to come in and save their job for them, instead of creating a solution as this example of how one company is adapting to the ever changing world we live in.
The Hidden Costs of IT Outsourcing
Keith Franklin, president of Empowered Software Solutions in Burr Ridge, Ill., loves offshore outsourcing. It means more work for his 40-person company. Just last year, ESS, which specializes in developing applications for Microsoft's .Net platform for Web services, earned $500,000 in revenues from fixing buggy software written in India. It took ESS five months to repair a glitch-filled application for a Web portal. Most pages on the site weren't connected, turning updating into a nightmare. Some code was missing. The shoddy work didn't come cheap, either: The Indian outsourcer went $1 million overbudget. Franklin says he could have done the project for less than $900,000 -- right here in the U.S.
A proverb for all who voted for Perot in 1992, and plan on voting 3rd party in 2004 to 'teach Bush a lesson.'
Congratulations on NOT being a fool, Two-Bits.
And thanks for a great, succint analysis, Jim.
I've got it bookmarked.
In terms of political tactics, I think we have to understand we got another Clinton on our hands....Kerry even has a spouse who is planning to be co-president (Teresa is a Hitlery clone but with big bucks).
Kerry is taking a page out of the Clinton Playbook. He is already running as the put-upon "tolerant and compassionate" candidate who is a "victim" of the "hateful VRWC."
Kerry's own elitist sense of entitlement together with his adoption of the insufferable Clinton arrogance has clearly resonated with the voters (as the polls show).
These disturbed liberals and Clinton worshippers eat this stuff up, eh?
Bush is struggling to find the right formula b/c Kerry is actually running a presidential race before he's even nominated. Bush was forced out to NASCAR and onto the internet ad route b/c of this.
Bush can nail Kerry but he has to understand what drives JFK.
