John Kerry to strike back at "infidelity"-coverage, will appear on Imus-Show
Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry is set to strike back at the "infidelity"-coverage by "Drudge Report" joining Don Imus on his Friday morning talk show.
"Drudge Report" had first broken the news of intense US media investigation into the two-year relationship of Kerry and a young woman, which is said they had since Spring 2001. The woman is said to remain at an undisclosed location in Africa.

Like I said, don't watch!
But a thinking person would ask, why do the powerful on the right and the left cater to Imus?
I don't watch or listen to Howard Stern. If people get something out of his program - good for them.

I bet Kerry is practicing saying: "I did not have sex with that woman..." right now. Probably getting tips from Clinton on how to try to sound convincing. "I won't dignify such baseless charges. We've already put this country through a partisan witchhunt that derailed Congress. Time which could have been better spent crafting a national health plan... We have serious issues facing American workers these days and..."

But a thinking person would ask, why do the powerful on the right and the left cater to Imus? A thinking person would scratch their head and think the "powerful" do it ONLY because it's a stinking NEW YORK market that feeds into NJ, PA, DC and many other surrounding areas.
They'd also think these "powerful" pinheads are just trying to make themselves look good and care more about their personal fortunes than the public policy they are supposed to.
I saw Imus, just two days ago, rolling his eyes every time he read Laura Ingrahm was scheduled that morning. His contempt was pitiful. Why she does his show is beyond me. And the so-called journalists that call in are the biggest morons on the planet!
Fine, you like Imus. I don't. I think he's a twit and senile. If he floats your boat, who am I to say?

If Ms. Heinz drops him he can always try to hook up with Jane Fonda. She's got money.

Pretty early for trolling, isn't it?
You're both wrong. Again.
And I do think Imus is in Kerry's camp. We'll see if he stays there.

You just don't get it. If he doesn't like someone, they will never be on his show. He thinks Laura is one of the sharpest people in the business. That doesn't mean he's going to gush all over her. He gives everyone a hard time. She loves coming on his show and she makes him laugh.
Imus doesn't spend his time stepping on his guest's lines, like Matthews, Hannity, O'Reilly, etc., do. When he has a guest on the show it is about his guest.

Like I said, just two days ago he was making all kinds of disparaging remarks about Laura on PMSNBC during the breaks. If she loves it and he laughs, then she's a moron since she's clueless that he hates her. OR, he's even worse being a phony for TV and making negative remarks about her to his staff.
You obviously don't "get it"...I've watched him enough at 5 a.m. my time bored with posting common sense to idiots on the internet that I've seen his gimmick enough and I'm not impressed.
As to O'Reilly and Matthews, they do step on their guests but Matthews because he's a jerk and a blowhard while O'Reilly just jumps in to stop their spin and talking point diatribes. Hannity is even better at just forcing them off their script and getting to the point and making them state FACTS!
I guess you enjoy allowing the creeps to massage their message the way Imus let's them. Just last night he had one reporter on and they talked about the pilot that brought up religion during a flight. The bigotry and condescension was so thick I could feel it from my TV.

Not "pretty early" -- pretty darned late here.
Imus will vote for POTUS. Imus remembers 9/11.

You know, not everyone makes up their mind about voting nine months before the election. FR partisans are not actually the norm.
Imus is quirky and thought Gore was repellant and a liar.
But he was sure warming up to Ketchup boy the other day. The subject of his vote in 2000 came up and he didn't say anything directly but I had the impression it wasn't settled yet by any means.
We'll see.

It's part of a strategy.....Kerry leaks a bunch of dirt on himself and blames it on Bush.....most of it innaccurate....Then - nobody believes any of it.
The US press didn't pick up on it...almost as if they were clued in.

Have you checked out the DU? I was expecting to see "Who cares?" responses... instead, it seems like they want Kerry to drop out if the charges are true.If they're saying that, it's only because they feel that it will impact his ability to run, not because they feel he did anything wrong.
It's fun sometimes to go over there and watch them rant, though. You just have to take a good, long shower afterwards...
