John Kerry to strike back at "infidelity"-coverage, will appear on Imus-Show
Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry is set to strike back at the "infidelity"-coverage by "Drudge Report" joining Don Imus on his Friday morning talk show.
"Drudge Report" had first broken the news of intense US media investigation into the two-year relationship of Kerry and a young woman, which is said they had since Spring 2001. The woman is said to remain at an undisclosed location in Africa.

I certainly won't be listening.
More fodder.
Only energize the libs and dems and lefties, those who are adulterers or envy them, those who hate traditional values etc...
Kerry will take the High Road as it were in this polar opposite universe we share our nation with.

Dodd will be on an hour earlier. I think he and the "swimmer" have a history in this department also.

Have you checked out the DU? I was expecting to see "Who cares?" responses... instead, it seems like they want Kerry to drop out if the charges are true. Of course, they say the charges aren't true and Drudge just made it up.
Of course., the Rats also said that Clinton should resign IF the charges were true. Then they found the dress, and then it was time to "move on"...

Imus should sucker punch him with questions about his testimony before Congress that helped brand the notion of American soldiers as "baby killers".

An important fact to bring up!!
I would also like to add that f'n Kerry had invited himself on the Imus show.

instead, it seems like they want Kerry to drop out if the charges are true. Everyone is waiting to see what happens next. First it was Dean.....until they discovered he was insane.
Next it was Clark....until they discovered everyone hates him.
Now it is Kerry........but they will drop him like a used condom if they have to. John never figured that out.

I heartily hope he survives this as the Dem candidate. I have been looking forward to the campaign, taking him apart will be most delicious. You don't even have to dig very deep, everything he did, he did for the cameras. All you have to do is run news footage and video footage of everything he ever said and everything he ever did; its all right there.
It would be such a shame for him to get knocked out before the primary. The other candidates may be no more competent than he, but none would be nearly as much fun watching while they self-destruct.
No Republican with a brain is behind this. Its a Clinton sabotage operation, or its a Kerry-self-immolation.

I wonder how much Kerry's "baby killer" testimony contributed to the treatment that Vietnam vets were subjected to when they returned home. Has there been a thread on this subject? That is a good topic all on it's own.

Is that right? He invited himself?

From the looks of Kerry, I'd say he 'invented' himself...in a lab with Igor! Or was that Algore?

Yes,
On yesterday's show Imus and Bernie were talking about it...Edwards campaign had called and asked if he could appear, and the Kerry campaign called and asked if Kerry could appear.
All of this happened BEFORE the Drudge report went up.

Yes the subject has been brought up in a number of threads (some of which I read, some I missed, and some I skimmed).
The text of Kerry's speech has been printed (and from what I gather he has not been pressed to admit if he personally saw or participated in any of these attrocities).
Also Oliver North has been circulating a quote from the Vietnamese where they described the strength that they got from the antiwar movement.
Deliberately propagating lies (not to mention lying before Congress) is a big story and perhaps an act of treason. Axis Sally was convicted for it after WWII. It certainly provides aid and comfort to the enemy during wartime.
Hanoi Jane is the benchmark case though; if sitting on an enemy antiaircraft gun and posing for photos isn't treason, then nothing is.

Gee, what an attraction. A (putatively former) cokehead interviewing a (hopefully former) traitor.
Just can't wait for this one.
NOT.

I can't believe nobody said it, yet, so I will.
I bet Kerry is practicing saying: "I did not have sex with that woman..." right now. Probably getting tips from Clinton on how to try to sound convincing.
