John Kerry to strike back at "infidelity"-coverage, will appear on Imus-Show
Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry is set to strike back at the "infidelity"-coverage by "Drudge Report" joining Don Imus on his Friday morning talk show.
"Drudge Report" had first broken the news of intense US media investigation into the two-year relationship of Kerry and a young woman, which is said they had since Spring 2001. The woman is said to remain at an undisclosed location in Africa.

To focus on who he's sleeping with diminishes the great body of evidence of his lack of fitness for the office. This just might very well be the strategy behind this "non-story" story coming out....to deflect attention away from the great body of evidence over his Vietnam era activity...so as not to EXPOSE just what the real truth is behind/related to his anti-war associations/actions taken in the past.
Savage made this very point on his radio show last night. He compared it with what happened similary with Bill Clinton. Just when the heat was being turned up on "China-gate" all of a sudden the Monica story broke and for nearly the rest of his presidency, there was very little-to-no focus on China-gate, which should have been the REAL STORY to expose the traitorous Clinton crime machine...NOT the Lewinsky mess.
Maybe Kerry figures he can survive an "it's-only-about-sex" scandle a whole lot better than an "anti-war, anti-American, communist-sympathizer" scandle. Hmmmmm? (thought Savage made an excellent point.)

In that photo of Lurch Kerry you posted, the hand and fingers look just like the Grinch's hand and fingers (except the Grinch's hand and fingers are green).

Kerry looked scared to death when he was with Clark

Perhaps the saddest aspect of this entire story is the disgrace brought upon Mrs. Heinz, who's husband, a Republican Pennsylvania Senator was killed in a midair collision only miles from where the Polier family lives. Talk about grasping at straws...

Why doesn't somebody run forward with a mike and ask, "Did you betray your wife?" "What does this say about your character?" and "Why are you accepting an endorsement from a man who is spreading vicious rumors about you to the Press?

Indeed. The real story is that Kerry is a kept man, or in Ann Coulter's words a 'gigilo'. He's managed to live well by marrying into huge amounts of money - twice. He's not had a real non-political job for decades.

I remember in '92 there was a very specious rumor about George Bush and a staffer when he was VP that was far more iffy than Kerry's affair but managed to make all the networks news for at least a week.
To: thoughtomator
The fact that they have chased down internet rumors about Bush (AWOL) and refuse to cover a similar story about Kerry is striking. I suspect many millions will be sufficiently convinced that if there were a woman in Africa at Bush's behest--all Hell would be breaking lose in every mainstream media outlet there is!!!

Alex Polier is a reporter who, based on her articles is left of most Democrats but mainstream for a "journalist".
To: Semper Paratus
More than that ... Hillary was planting it in her comments and speeches and her media 'friends' were picking it up and running with it.

He did not deny the affair. He said he was not going to discuss it. The last firm No was not a denial but an affirmation that he was not going to talk about.

Your loyalty is misplaced. Are you an Imus staffer? LOL. ...
Imus,
What a wussy interview of Kerry.
In 1971, John Kerry became a leader of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War protest group. Kerry testified to Congress that American soldiers in Vietnam had "personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam." Kerry testified, "We all did it." He said his claims were "not isolated incidents but crimes committed on a day-to-day basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command." The awful allegations of fellow veterans being war criminals were based on trumped up stories. B.G. Burkett points out in his book "Stolen Valor" that Kerry used phony veterans to testify to atrocities they could not possibly have committed. Kerry had engaged in defamation and slander against the military in order to further the anti-war cause.
Kerry today runs on his 4 months in Vietnam, yet is never challenged on his post-military activism. You could have and should have challenged him on his hypocritical use of his war record while never apologizing for his extreme comments and his defamation of the US military in Vietnam. Questions you should have asked but didnt:
- Does Kerry think Vietnam military service was a shameful military exercise or something to be proud of? If he is proud of his service, how does he now feel about his anti-war activism?
- Kerry said, "I think there has been an exaggeration" with regard to the terrorist threat in the South Carolina debate. Why did he say that? Was 9/11 no big deal to him? Does he feel Al Qaeda has been full destroyed?
- Does Kerry regret his defamations against the military in 1971 and does he apologize for it? Or does he still stand by his characterization of the US military in Vietnam as engaged in "crimes committed on a day-to-day basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command"?
- Does Kerry claim that his service of 4 months in Vietnam means he will protect our nation better? What should we make of Kerry's 35 years in politics tearing at our national security institutions, defaming our military, voting against military budgets, and being wobbly on matters of defense and security? Hasnt he really been "weak on defense" as a Senator?
- Does Kerry believe invading Iraq and deposing Saddam Hussein was a mistake? If he was President, would Kerry have let Saddam stay in power, given what we know now? For how long? For how long would sanctions last? How can he justify his vote against the Gulf war in 1991?
Sorry, man, you did a great service to Kerry, but not to the audience. You totally wussed out.

The most fun aspect about this story is watching the TV reporters trying to pretend they don't know about the story. For example, Chris Mathews on Hardball last night. You could see that he knew. And that he knew that we knew he knew. And that he knew we knew he knew that we knew he knew. And yet not a PEEP over this from Mathews even though the Internet and talk radio is buzzing about this. It's hilarious! It's like the TV folks are living in some sort of a parallel universe of pretension.

The ABC radio break on KSFO had a bit about Bush's papers being cleared up. The "journalist" said there was nothing missing on the paperwork
Then went on to Kerry's denial of an affair with Kerry's comment.
It was as though ABC was saying "OK the AWOL story cancels out the Intern story!"
So does anyone agree that LeHane was Clinton's embed in the other campaigns to dig up the dirt?
