I hate having to hate Springsteen, too. The only one I really love to hate is DeGeneres.

A credit to him was that he did give a compassionate plea for others to not die a horrible death like he didn. He is missed.

I spent so many years defending that little jerk for Game 7 in 1994, and *this* is what I get in return? Well, now that he's relegated to coaching in the USBL, I suppose he's not a happy camper...

I'm sure Gwyneth and Madonna and "Sting" (what a name, grow up old man)

If I were named "Gordon Sumner", I think I'd stick with the nickname too. Trivia: He got the nickname when he was in a jazz band and came to a rehearsal in a striped soccer shirt, and one of the band members said that he looked like a bee.

Did you ever like Clark Gable? I found this little item from 50+ years ago.

Clark Gable, Movie Star: [1952 Republican National Convention] Ladies and gentlemen, it is my privilege to introduce to you the man who has written the songs that all America loves to sing. Tonight he will teach you his newest, the campaign song for the next president of the United States -- Mr. Irving Berlin.

Irving Berlin, Songwriter: [singing] I like Ike / I'll shout it over a mike / Tried and true / Courageous, strong and human. / Why even Harry Truman / Says, ''I like Ike.''

LOL... I don't know if there is anyone I hate. What's her name, the aging actress that wears a suit in every movie she is in... I have a strong dislike for her.

Lord. Does she have a voice.

I'm glad they won the grammy; I picked up Fallen last week, and it's one of the better albums I've found this year. I actually like the majority of the 11 tracks, and I find I am able to listen to 'My Immortal' ad infinitum.

The piano background; her vocals (haunting? ethereal?); I hope they keep making music just like that.

They'll probably get all modern now, and start to do hip hop or something. That would be my luck.
