Well, he said something similar to what HLL quoted... But it really was "Are you going to expose your breast" He said .... "Oh no.... My brother said said not to expose anything if it wasn't the Boob in the White House, but that's just what ~he~ said... I said [brother's name]!"..... and then Joan sent him off somewhere else....

I am not sure what he was really trying to say. It wasn't a smooth move, for sure.

Oh, OK. So it sounds like his brother made that anti-Bush statement. Strange. Um... yeah, maybe Sean shouldn't have said anything.

Sean presented the award for Best New Artist at about 9:55-10pm ET with Norah Jones (I think that's who she was). He didn't say anything "controversial".

This thread is hillarious. I'm watching the football "game" and following along with the Grammys here. Not that I care, but it's funny to read Freepers ripping these braindead morons.

She proved she had a good voice in that Pepsi commercial where she did a send up of "Carmen".

Sean's attempt at humor failed. By tomorrow morning, Liz Smith (a known Demo) on page 6 of the NY Post will have "misquoted" Sean to suit the DNC's nefarious purpose...

The horror.

Well, I think Jon Bon Jovi is freelancing, but it was still so pathetic. The commercials he had in mind would go something like this-- play a video byte of Colin Powell at the UN talking about what a vial of anthrax could do, then flash to washed up rocker JBJ saying "Huh?" with his his hands out in an "oh, please" gesture and then play another video byte of someone from the administration making a prewar wmd statement and then flash again to JBJ saying,"Huh?!!!??"

That's what JBJ thinks will win the White House for the rats. He also went on to brag about campaigning "so hard" for Gore in 2000. Dennis Miller looked like he wanted to rip JBJ another excretion whole.

My reaction to JBJ-- somebody in Hollyweird, hire him before he joins Saddam Fedayheen.

It was a quote of the brother.... and he started to continue about it or spin it.... but Joan cut him off.

He was trying to make a joke. I wouldn;t put much weight into it.

hehe... now I'm thinking about it... surely there are a few.

My wife nominates Bruce Willis and Mel Gibson... after that... she draws a blank.

He did say his brother said it and it was meant as a joke relating the Janet. I didn't take it as a political statement, but at an attempt at humor.

I'm just glad to know the context behind it, so I don't have to be peeved that he was betraying Bush!
