Oh, so it's a common thing to have bare breasts on network tv during the world's biggest sporting event? C'mon, there was a line crossed tonight. I didn't say it was "common." I said it was hardly "shocking." As in, unexpected and inconsistent with past trends. For example, MTV having a modestly dressed gospel singer do the half-time show would be shocking. JJ's boob may be briefly attention-getting, but shocking it ain't.
I guess you were shocked when Britney & Madonna kissed, huh?

1) You'd think Janet Jackson would tone down anything controversial, you'd think her family is going through enough. I think it's her way of flipping off the folks who think her brother's a child molester.
To: Vets_Husband_and_Wife
I think we should call Houston police and have her arrested for indecent exposure. Agree...I'll call if you post the number!

I think a group of families with children should go after them in court......the air waves are supposed to be regulated.....it is as if we all assume "they" are the great and powerful ones who can inflict wherever "they" choose on families.....there was no warning or rating of this half time show....come on.....guys the only way to really hurt and eliminate bad behavior is to sue....

Once I saw P Diddy appear I changed channels..... what did the NFL expect with an MTV produced halftime show?
To: mewzilla
They were not untouchable as far as the Ronald Reagan movie was concerned. We must organize and not let it fade into the sunset. Hit the NFL and CBS.
Those of you in Houston, call the sheriff's office with complaints, flood them with complaints. Demand action. Even if they cannot do anything, keep demanding something be done. Over & over & over again.

Huh...Well...huh. Ummmm...I'm not quite sure what to make of this. It's interesting, but not really shocking.

Perhaps when nameless kid pulls the same stunt at school, his parents can name CBS in a lawsuit for endorsing this type of behavior. If a kid did that in school, he'd be up on sex harrassment charges, sent for counselling, and put in alternative school.

Parents who don't allow mtv, got mtv, at party's with their children and teens.
The whole half-time show was trash.
To: Diddle E. Squat
I don't think MTV would show bare breast on their network. They sure did a job on CBS!

In his mind he saw JJ's boob after Justin Timberlake grabbed at her breast and pulled off her shirt. It will be the talk of the 12 year old hormones at school tomorrow and no matter how we as parents address it, some kid has gotten the message that this is acceptable behavior. After all, it was on the Super Bowl.Boy are you right about that. I simply cannot detail all of the things happening, because someone will have my job. And, I am laughing here reading all of this because someone so correctly posted that the big boys will apologize publicly, but will be laughing behind the scenes. Almost no one on here will lift a finger to do anything. Few will call, fewer will write. Spineless...most all of you.

I agree. I think people need to call the Houston Police department. This was indecent exposure forced upon children. There was NO WARNING, NO Chance to CHANGE the channel.
Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake are probably still in town.
CALL NOW.
Are there an Houston Freeper PING LISTS?

If a kid did that in school, he'd be up on sex harrassment charges, sent for counseling, and put in alternative school Exactly....but CBS can model that for every 10 year old watching the game with his dad....sue

People like janet & justin act as if they are above the law of common decency.....we must hold them, CBS, NFL & AOL accountable for this disgusting display on live TV!
