Lieberman's problem was never his politics or his character. He just didn't look like a president. He was too slight, with too big a forehead and too small a chin. He looked like a chipmunk or the third generation owner of the family hardware store in a small town in the midwest.

A few new words from Drudge:
JOE LIEBERMAN CONTEMPLATES 'SUSPENDING' HIS CAMPAIGN, TOP SOURCES TELL DRUDGE... 'IT'S BECOMING CLEAR THAT IT IS NOT JOE'S YEAR,' TOP CAMPAIGN SOURCE SAYS... LIEBERMAN LIKELY TO FINISH 5TH IN N.H...
I was hoping that Liberman would at least beat that whack-job Clark, but it was not to be. I hope he stays in - because Dean and Clark are both too tempermentally abnornal to make it; thus the race will come down to Kerry, Edwards, and Lieberman, which gives Lieberman a chance.

Check out the Joe Lieberman ticket: in reality it is all about providing full employment for the Lieberman family.
He gets to pay his kids as $100k/year consultants and get preferential tax treatment on the money he raises.

In fairness to Lieberman, I remember him saying repeatedly during the 2000 campaign when asked on his flip-flops that he believed he had to be a loyal #2. I don't think in retrospect that he ever changed and changed back, so much as he believed his duty of loyalty to Gore was greater than his personal political opinions.

Lieberman secured a permanent position on my sh!t-list when he refused to convict Bill Clinton in 1999. I wouldn't care if he became a Methodist Republican tomorrow and endorsed George W. Bush in this year's election campaign -- he'd still be a flaming @sshole, in my mind.

After that...he turned into another Democratic liar. So, you also remember the one-eightys he did on several topics when he joined-up for the 2000 elections! Thank you - it seems like posts 7, 9 14, and 24 must be from a different reality.

I read somewhere that Kucinich is part Slovak (as well as part Irish...his surname is Croat). Tom Ridge is also supposedly part Slovak.

I used to have some bit of respect for Lieberman.....but that was pre-Gore. After that...he turned into another Democratic liar.BINGO! Exactly my view.
To: Phantom Lord
Is "suspending" code for quiting?Would it mean he would get to keep the money in a campaign fund? (Maybe he's thinking VP again.....nahhhhh)
