"Bush orders smallpox vaccine for military, himself 01/30/04 Saying the United States must be prepared for potential biological weapons attacks, President Bush announced Friday that he is ordering some military personnel to be vaccinated against smallpox -- {{{and that he himself will be inoculated.}}} Sure that protects us all!",There was a report on our local news that anyone who wanted to participate in a trial for smallpox immunization could call a number here for a local Dr who is participating in this. Don't know how widespread this trial is though. I thought it was odd at this point in time. I don't really want to get that unless I have to, I've had it once many years ago with no side effects, but who knows what's in that now.

The obvious answer is the the technological know-how is readily available in the former-USSR. Technology and technological expertise for sale and for hire. AlQaeda has the financial resources to purchase whatever they need.

"WASHINGTON - Even with the continuing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the bigger challenge in the global war on terrorism is the threat posed by extremists in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, the commander of U.S. forces in that region said Thursday.",I sure see Pakistan mentioned a lot in the last 3 days!! Something is going on there and I think it has to do with that unusual information about the US going after BL in the spring. That was just an odd bit of information to dish out IMHO. I still think perhaps we may have him already and are preparing for civil unrest.
