Which post MnC?

I talked about this yesterday though:

Another thing of which I am reminded is the film "Black Sunday" from the 1970's. This film was clearly produced by Jews in that the Palestinian freedom fighter characters are depicted as the bad guys! And, as was the case in countless films of this period, Marthe Keller played the main "terrorist" woman, despite the fact that she was Swiss. Well, perhaps this makes more sense than one might think at first thought. But where is Marthe Keller today?

Could the "Severnaya" references somehow be linked to the vast oil deposits in the Caspian Sea, not nuclear or shipbuilding? A huge power plant (Severnaya) was recently completed in Azerbaijan.
The Caspian holds the 3rd largest oil reserves in the world, second to Siberia and the Persian Gulf Area.
No doubt we are currently highly dependent on Middle East oil.
OBL, and the Saudis, would like to see us remain dependent on Middle East oil, for different reasons.
A disruption in the flow of oil from the Caspian and preventing our access to that oil would go a long way in achieving that goal.
Now if Russia is in fact pulling OBL's strings, and if the regime in Saudi was to be overthrown and replaced by those sympathetic to Al Qeda and OBL, then we'd be looking at a double jeopardy situation.
Am I reaching? :>)

Agreed...but how do you know that Fed/private sector is telling what they know...if private sector knew, wouldn't it go to the Fed's...nuke testing in the 50's and 60's went on for some time without anyone knowing about it...I just think that the earth quake that happen several days ago at Serenaya and similar claims about the "Serenaya Project" from Muslim websites is very interesting...

Yikes.

Wondering what you guys all think on a couple of things..

- Could this be a photo from previous nuclear test done by US or another country? (Hard to know where the photo came from..) For all we know, this could be "file copy".

- Is it real, or Photoshop again?

IMHO, it'd be hard to light up a nuke and not get SOMEONE in the press's attention. Even if it's just an islander who sees a 7-mile mushroom cloud in the distance and starts passing word around.

A nuke is kinda hard to hide. SOMEONE must've seen this if it was "real", and it would be in the press immediately, no?

Terrorists Could Have Thermobaric Bombs

COLUMBUS, OHIO -- A top explosives expert says a weapon the Pentagon is trying to perfect may also be a weapon of choice for terrorists, Defense News reports.
Tom Burky, a bomb expert for the Battelle research institute, said the use of thermobaric bombs has been proven in some terrorist explosions and suspected in many others.

Thermobaric bombs are five to 10 times more powerful than conventional explosives, and their use would substantially increase the explosive capability of car bombs, Burky said.

U.N. Will Study Security Situation in Iraq

PARIS -- United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan said he will dispatch a team to study the situation in Iraq and determine if the U.S. can guarantee safety for elections in the spring, Knight Ridder reports.

"I have concluded that the United Nations can play a constructive role in helping to break the current impasse," said Annan in a statement issued from Paris.

The world body pulled its foreign staff out of Iraq after an August bombing that killed 21, including top U.N. envoy Sergio Vieira de Mello.

Indonesia Declines Libyan Warships

JAKARTA, INDONESIA -- The head of the Indonesian navy turned down a Libyan donation of several warships, reports the Jakarta Post.

"Most of them are aged 25 years or more," said Chief of Staff Adm. Bernard Kent Sondakh. "We couldn't afford their maintenance."

The Indonesian navy, which is in the process of upgrading its aging fleet, recently signed a contract with a Dutch shipbuilder for two new corvettes.

Syria Has Installed Chemical Warheads on Missiles

WASHINGTON -- U.S. officials say Syria, with the help of North Korea, has completed the design and installation of chemical warheads for its Scud B, Scud C and Scud D missiles, the Middle East Newsline reports.
"Since the 1970s, Syria has pursued what is now one of the most advanced Arab state chemical weapons capabilities," said Undersecretary of State John Bolton.

"It has a stockpile of the nerve agent sarin that can be delivered by aircraft or ballistic missiles, and has engaged in the research and development of more toxic and persistent nerve agents such as VX," Bolton said.

I'm not sure what Mossad's reason's are, but many Jews believe strongly that the name of God should not be written in any way that can be erased. So when they write it on paper, or on a screen, they write G-d. It's clear of whom they are speaking, and they do not violate that tenet of their faith. (I was told this by a rabbit who is a family friend - I was curious so I asked.)

Keeping On Top Of All The Ships At Sea

Coordinating maritime security is a complicated issue involving several agencies AND modes of transportation. In addition to the ports themselves, rail lines and highways are all part of the mix. Coordinating computerized information between all of them can be complicated. Chet Lunner is the Transportation Security Administration's Assistant Administrator of Maritime and Land Security.
"Not inventing new algorithms or new processes or new databases it's trying to get them all to speak the same language so that at some common point the dots are all the same kind of dots so that we can sort them out."

Lunner says the system is working as planned.
