Of all the big names in auto parts - NAPA is by far our favorite. heck, he had bought the alternator here in Virginia, but the car was in Maryland.....the NAPA near where the car died had no qualms about switching it out.

I'm not sure if my flu is better or worse.
Yesterday I stayed in bed most of the day.
Try to avoid this flu. It's bad.
I feel like it would take 3 days in the hospital to get me well enough just to die. LOL

Hubby just got back from getting firewood. Holey guacamole.....the entire back of the van is full to the ceiling and there is wood on the floor in the front seat and on the 2 back seats............what a deal!!! $30 for it all. It's going to stay toasty war in this house for a while!!!!

But, the monthly should never make up the total.....Then the group would be come elitist. Everyone should be able to pay a small part and claim ownership.

What's good about the present system is those who can, pay. Those who only contribute a small amount still can say: "I'm part of FR."

Now if the group who use but don't contribute would only pay $1.00 they wouldn't appear to be so ????? ......socialistic?

MSN messenger is one royal pain in the behind. The download takes so much danged time and slows everything down to a snail's pace.

OTOH it gave me time for major multi-tasking...........cleaned the new tile floor in preperation for grouting it, did 2 sinkfuls of dishes, 2 loads of laundry and FReeped!!!!!!

Since no one knows how much anyone contributes unless they declare themselves, I see nothing elitist about every person who values and wants to consider themselves part of FR contributing a SMALL amount every month.

The camaraderie and sense of belonging would be enhanced through shared support.

I agree, but never make up the total. Therefore no fund drives at all. Everyone should be able to support, contribute as they desire. Open ended, not closed when the monthly contributors meet the need.

LOL... I had a really rude schedule during the week, and yesterday afternoon the lights started fading. Actually, the dimmer switch burned up, so off to home depot for a new one. I tried (really) to stay awake for a while. Right. I actually slept for 12 hours! I haven't done that since the Nixon administration :o)
