It was strange Asman didn't want to address what Tancredo was stating.

Its up to Tancredo to stop this nonsense. I hope he can find some reliable allies in the House.

Ridge is failing!

Is Bush being Ridge's puppet or are they a tagteam?

The socialists both here and in Europe are banking on immigration. They need those people to pay the bills for the welfare programs they want. Since they worship abortion, they won't face up to the fact that we wouldn't need a massive influx immigrants if we didn't kill off millions of our own children.

Bush and Ridge

From what I've seen of Bush, once he's made his mind up, he won't change it, come hell or high water.

If this is what he wants, to only chance to stop it is in the House. Contacting our Reps. my be the best option.

"The bottom line is, as a country we have to come to grips with the presence of 8 to 12 million illegals, afford them some kind of legal status some way."

Why does a statement like that from Tom Ridge make me want to

Are we still having Primaries?

I've seen on Fox News that two republicans are running against Bush in the primaries and one of them is from right here in St. Louis County and he's unhappy about the federal debt that has been run up under Bush's watch. Here in Mo. we're suppose to have a primary. I'll have to find out more about these two people.

I know that Bush will win the primary but it doesn't hurt to offer some resistance.

We have to be ready to hit this with everything we've got! The first week of January let's start blitzing the Whitehouse, House and Senate, RNC, and the media! Lots of facts on fair.org and numbersusa. Be prepared to wage war repeatedly in the month of January!

Monday, January 12, the first day of Bush's visit with Mexican President Fox in Mexico City.

I will have no problem supporting Americanpatrol.com and its call for a one day "Don't shop at all. Don't buy anything. Don't go to the movies, etc."

It's a start.

Ridge is failing! Is Bush being Ridge's puppet or are they a tagteam?

This is a Rove strategy to pander for Hispanic votes.

Bush approved the plan and Ridge is floating the trial ballon

If Bush pushes this, it will be a huge mistake on the level of Bush 41 raising taxes after pledging not to.

A lot of people will just stay home rather than vote for him , costing him more votes than the Hispanic votes he hopes to gain.

Yep.. and with 50 years of propoganda both regarding abortion and 'diversity' getting people to understand the severity of this, will be a hard row to hoe as they say.

"This is a kick in the teeth to the thousands of individuals across the world who are legally attempting to enter the United States," added Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., chairman of the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus. "Instead, the U.S. is saying, 'Why wait? Sneak on in! Whether you enter illegally or not, you will be a resident or citizen in no time.' The first lesson these new residents will learn about the U.S. is it is OK to break the law."

My daughter-in-law is an immigrant (legal) and the amount of money and paperwork they have had to endure is astounding.. They should get a refund. And I should add, my views have changed drastically regarding ANY immigration.. it is beyond ridiculous.

Other way around!! Ridge is sniffing GWB. He makes policy! SAY NO TO AMNESTY! The Rats love this or at least the Unions do! Think of the dues instantly generated from 10 million janitors and food service workers! The vast millions goes to Democrat candidates.

A friend is sponsoring someone from India to come over. Yea, were talking $1000 in applications and more for travel to and from NY! Also the friend has to go heck of a lot of red tape: background, taxes, employment verification, sponsorship requirements, etc. That's to get him here not citizenship. INS is a joke, but we don't say "well we just have to get a grip" and blanket amnesty illegals. Total overhaul is key but everyone wants to put a band-aid on it.

"$1000 in applications and more for travel to and from NY! Also the friend has to go heck of a lot of red tape: background, taxes, employment verification, sponsorship requirements, etc."

Multiply that by about 10 by the time it's done.. which brings up a question, if the feds get so much $$ for legal immigrants wouldn't it make sense for them to discourage illegals?

"The bottom line is, as a country we have to come to grips with the presence of 8 to 12 million illegals, afford them some kind of legal status some way, but also as a country decide what our immigration policy is and then enforce it," Ridge said in a Dec. 9 forum in Miami.

Ridge is exactly 100% right.

Of course we've already been kicking legal immigrants in the teeth for decades by not enforcing existing immigration laws. If we don't enforce our own laws, exactly why should we expect anyone to follow them?

Ridge has also admitted # of illegals could be 20,000,000..worst case scenario.
