THE NUTS HATE BUSH BUT WE LUVYA DUBYA: Beverly Hills AfterFreep Report!
Dec. 2, 2003

Posted on 12/02/2003 8:45:26 PM PST by Cinnamon Girl

While the nuts were gathering in the Beverly Hilton for their childish "Hate Bush" meeting, the America-loving, President Bush-loving folks from all around were joining up with signs and cheers on Wilshire Boulevard, across the street from the hotel.

And it wasn't just us Freepers-- the very good looking College Republicans from Loyola Marymount, Ted Hayes, and other happy people who heard about the rally from all the talk shows today (thanks talk show hosts!) were out there with us. Signs were upbeat: "Luvya Dubya", "L.A. Loves W.", "Real Men Love G.W." (that was Outraged, who was dressed in his superman costume), "President Bush is My Hero", and of course there were lots of American Flags.

As RonDog waved with his big Mickey Mouse hand and we waved our signs chanting "President Bush!" and "Five More Years!" TONS of cars passed us, many of them HONKING THEIR HORNS in support-- much more than I had expected, actually. I keep wanting to believe that more and more people are rejecting the liberal trash in LA; my experience at rallies over the years suggests to me that there is a changing tide. Yes, we got a lot of middle fingers-- one of the most common forms of expression from liberals-- but on the BIRD-OMETER, with the rally in front NBC studios during the Al Gore hissy fit being a 10, this ranked a 4. At that rally we got a lot of screaming curse words as well, but at this one, the anger was actually WAY, WAY toned down with a few "He's an idiot" comments and 'thumbs down' but the RAGE wasn't there.

Lots of media showed up: KTLA 5, CBS 2, channels 9 and 11 as well, plus a CBS from Sacramento.

The energy was really good, and, although the Hate Bush attendees came in through the backway from the parking garage and avoided us, there were a few loitering in the lobby who could see us, and well, if they watch the news tonight, I guess they'll get an earful.

Look for pictures from Freeper "rantblogger."

P.S. I saw two people give us the finger with one hand, while holding their phones in the other-- while DRIVING.

They wished Bush dead at this hate Bush rally? That is a violation of law if that is the case (depending on method wished upon) and you are the first to say this is the case.

But I think you mean "in general" and I understand. But how is this counter hate love fest going to help any?

Letting the press have a PASS and think that there are no "LUVYA DUBYA" people is one way a "counter hate love fest" helps.....we're already out numbered in the press, we don't need to help them along by refusing to counter what the lefties so badly want America to think...that EVERYONE hates the President.

The organizer of the "Hate Bush" meeting said that she never used the word "hate" in any correspondence and that it was as a result of an internet rumor which got out of control, hence the showing of the invite sans any word such as hate.......

The ink still looks wet.

LOL.

Good job defending our man. It showed the public support for Bush rather than the liberal hate. You upstaged the whole event! Great job!

I think it's important to let the president know that he still has supporters and to break the illusion in which the liberals are trying to create that the vast majority of Americans hate him and don't support him.

thats the main difference. Hardly anyone on the REPB side wished Clinton or his cronies death... Compare that to the hatred for Bush and the nuts on democratic underground. I am proud of the fact that we can voice our adoration of our great president and our contempt of the dwarfs without all the profanity that seems to be the staple of the dem underground and the main stream liberals that I am sure they are aching to say but cannot...

Posting this on web sites and letting talk Radio and maybe Fox show this will highlight it enough. Even a "normal" democrat is going to think this is crap. These guys are the 10% fringe of the looney leftist communist wing of the country and I am probably overestimating this percentage.

Thomas didn't elaborate any further about the wording of the invitation.

The KCAL reporter said that approx. 300 attended this "manadatory meeting".

"Ode To A Democrat

OMG. That is so right on. Good one!"

Do Nothing Democrats On The War In Terror
By Tamara Wilhite ()

D = do-nothing democrat, C = concerned citizen

C: What do we do about the terrorists?

D: Do nothing.

C: Shouldn't we be trying to fight them?

D: Certainly not. If we kill them, they'll hate us.

C: Don't they already hate us?

D: That's beside the point. They don't like us, and we can't give them a valid reason for their hatred of us by killing their cohorts.

C: What about the fact that they've been killing us for years?

D: Soldiers volunteered for that when they volunteered for the military, so their deaths don't count unless it furthers our agenda. Conservative black diplomats serving in Africa don't matter. Dead evangelical missionaries get what they asked for - martyrdom. We shouldn't do anything about those idiots who got themselves killed.

C: What should we do if they continue to attack us at home?

D: Nothing! We can't strike back. That would risk enraging the Arab Street.

C: I thought they already hated us.

D: Yes, but striking out at them would breed more terrorists.

C: Aren't they already breeding terrorists?

D: Yes. But the Muslim minority in this nation is very vocal and very active in increasing their numbers by both local production and foreign imports. We can't risk them being angry with us. They're very conservative, but they can be lulled to the Democratic side. Acting against their friends in the Middle East risks them becoming violent in our own streets.

C: Haven't some of those locally born or naturalized citizens sought to act against the US?

D: We can't assume they did anything. We don't have adequate proof yet.

C: Those men from Lackawanna pled guilty.

D: They haven't run out of appeals, so we can't assume that they're guilty.

C: What can we do to defend ourselves from attack?

D: Converting to Islam is a possibility.

C: If we do nothing, we might not be allowed to make that choice willingly.

D: Nonsense! Islam is a religion of peace!

C: The Sunni and Shiite attacks on each other in Iraq and Pakistan are proof that that's not a safe option. They're throwing suicide bombers at other sects of Islam even as they send them at our allies and us.

D: That's a trivial detail. They hate us because we're oppressing them.

C: How are we oppressing them?

D: We're buying their oil!

C: How is that oppressing them?

D: We're bringing capitalism to their socialist dictatorships. Democracy could only be around the corner if that continued.

C: Then how do we stop oppressing them?

D: We should stop buying their oil.

C: Then how will we keep our economy going?

D: We won't. That's part of the beauty of it. We would just do nothing. No oil imports. No problems.

C: Our economy would stall -

D: More Democratic votes.

C: We'd see the transportation network grind to a stop -

D: More people doing nothing, and that would save the environment, too.

C: Shouldn't we build more power plants here, then, to reduce dependence on their oil?

D: Oh, no.

C: Why not?

D: That costs too much.

C: Per your arguments, it would reduce the terrorist motivations.

D: Yes, but it would provide jobs and power. We can't do that.

C: So you vote to turn off the oil imports and to not bother with a replacement fuel source?

D: Of course! Doing nothing about the supply or the demand issues would bring the whole nation to a stop! Imagine it! Everyone doing nothing ... except being motivated to vote for us because we can solve the crisis!

I think you're absolutely right about the ink not being dry on their "sample" invitation. It makes them look pretty stupid when Matt Drudge had one of the original invitations and it clearly said Hate Bush 12/2 right at the top of it! LOL.
