I've always considered Rush a lurker just like Sean, Neil and the rest. If you're reading this Rush, God Bless!

It's more evidence Rush is a lurker on here..."

How does that provide you with "evidence"?

I knew the word "schadenfreude" LONG before I ever heard of Free Republic. I wouldn't base too much on this.

Perhaps he is more than a lurker. Maybe he even posts opinions from time to time. Stranger things have happened.

This particular German word is in no way exclusive to FR . . . not that I doubt Rush lurks . . . just that his use of this word (which I refuse to even try to spell) doesn't reveal much of anything . . .

Yes, I believe he, and/or one of his staff, must be lurkers....last week I posted an obscure part of a financial newsletter I get that explained how many JOBS have been CREATED in the last few years.....and Rush was quoting from it.

His use of the word is in no way evidence that he is a lurker.
It is a pertty common word.
Rush is a lurker though, but this is not evidence of it.

There are a lot of media lurkers on FR, where else can you go and see all the top headlines from around the country and world in one place ? It would be shocking if journalists didn't lurk here.
To: Pyro7480
I learned the word when I was 13 reading the New Yorker.
Rush reads the New Yorker !!!??

William F. Buckley used and defined the word "schadenfreude" on the back cover blurb of Rush's first book, "The Way Things Ought to Be" which came out 11 years ago.
