Did you see the program last night (9:00 p.m. EST) on the History Channel? It dealt with Oswald's mistress in New Orleans 6 months prior to and leading up to Oswald's re-location to Dallas. She claims that they were working on a cancer causing virus to kill Castro for the CIA/Mob.

It was quite chilling, but I'm not not sure if it was accurate.

Many have tried but it's really an impossible feat.

I can't remember what cable channel I saw it on, but the experts duplicated the shots in accordance with some author's book. Even the marine snipers I know said it could be done. Regardless, we are going to have to disagree on this.

I will not look it up because thei may jar your memory. Posner said that their was a concpiracy-but not to kill JFK but to cover up the failed actions-sloppy work of various govt agencies. I don't know if he went so far as to say that the concpiracy Posner alleges to have happened also covered up Oswald's "spook" connections. >

Posner may say something like this, but not in the sense of a wide-ranging conspiracy. There were some actions, like Hosty throwing away Oswald's note, that were improper.

I don't know if he went so far as to say that the concpiracy Posner alleges to have happened also covered up Oswald's "spook" connections.

Posner doesn't believe Oswald had spook connections. He is correct.

No. His supposed ties are the result of conspiracy authors with overactive imaginations. There is no actual evidence of intelligence ties.

Hey IJ, I saw a special last night on the Discovery Channel ("Unsolved History") where marksman Micheal Yeardley made multiple shots in the alotted time in multiple attempts with the same Italian rifle. The accuracy is not the problem but the rifle jammed a couple of times. Theoretically, the kill shot was only at 89 yards away. This is not to convince you, but just to let you know one of the many JFK shows running this week.

There are other neat things they did in the 2 part special. It may run again this weekend.
