My Grandmother in law has cancer, prayers needed please
Posted on 11/05/2003 12:47:26 PM PST by RiflemanSharpe
My grandmother in law has been diagnosied with lung cancer. The tumor is the size of a golf ball. She is 80 and they do not think that there is any viable course of treatment. The doctors say she my only have a few months. Any prayers for her and our family would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God Bless.

No viable treatment because? Is it because of her age? I will certainly pray for her, but if you know the answer to the question I will know better what else to pray about.

Eve and me are praying for her complete recovery. At her age some Drs just want to kill or not treat them. Sad.

You're very welcome.
I've seen the power of prayer work on this board alone - whether to heal or to bring peace to our friends, and it is amazing.
Welcome to FR - glad to know you. :)

Welcome home to FR. I will pray for your grandmother. remember, by His stripes, we are healed.
Also, please pray for my grandmother, who is in a similar situation. Her cancer (on the esophagus) can be cured with rad and/or chemo, but at her age such a course of treatment would be worse than the effects of the tumor. At this point it's not growing, and my wife and I are believing for total healing.

Prayers for Grandma, that she is comfortable in her last eays on earth, and that she is drawn closer to God every day; for her perfect healing in Christ.
And ofcourse, prayers sent to those who love her, that they are given the strength they need.
To: RiflemanSharpe
May God bless her and the family with healing, strength and peace.
