You should see Desoto co. M.S. Completely coverd in Haley signs. We knocked on 27,000 doors this weekend...twice. If Haley doesnt win it wont be for lack of effort.

Do you think the DLC will say that the election of Repub gov's is a clear warning for Bush - lol.
To: So Cal Rocket
no liberal bias with the steal...you see, Democrats governing is the natural order of things, so if an R wins, it's like a hijack...

Coverdell was a good senator. He was the first (R) senator from GA to get re-elected since Reconstruction. Barnes, who is a loyal (D), really regrets apointting Zell because he is basically a (R). I have been dealing with Miller as long as I can remember. He was LT Gov here in the 80's.

I live in Southaven in DeSoto Cnty. I got 12 phone calls in the last 3 days from various GOP entities telling me to make sure to vote. You guys did a great job turning out the vote.

between appointing Roy, and losing to Perdue, Barnes is probably finished in GA!

8:41 - This is getting old.

Zell also said that since he was replacing the dead Coverdell via appointment, it was his intention to conduct himself in office in a similar manner as Coverdell would. He has been true to his word.

Anyone got any numbers on Philly mayor's race? Why would anyone care about the mayoralty of dying cities? The voters of those places have continually voted to kill themselves, and I'm more than willing to let them do that. They are THE blue zone. Let them swim in their swamp.

I didn't know that about Wolfie...still like him though.

Some polls are still open.
Katz's base appears to have turned out better than Street's.
Street's base 45.6 percent
Swing districts 51.4percent
Katz base 54.3 percent
Total citywide turnout is 51 percent.
The guy talking on the radio doesn't think it will be enough for Katz.

Well, you have to remember...if the Dem is leading, it's called early.
I remember the night of 2000..."with 2% reporting in Maine, we project Gore the winner" while "with 92% reporting, Tennessee is too close to call".

This is why we needed a GOP Secretary of State. No results in 40 minutes is horrible. KY results are already complete less than 2 hours after polls closed. Sec. of State is an important office. We can minimize fraud by having GOP S.O.S.
To: votelife
Yeah, Roy is finished. The realignment that happened in GA last year is now happening in KY and may I say Mississippi? The senate race here for Zell's seat only has one unknown loony (D) candidate and she has about 5,000 dollars in campaign funds.
