But, but, but ... that's just silly. LOL
I don't think that all of the spin controll, in the world, is going to save them this time. :-)

I prefer his "She Coon of Women's Lib"...one of the few times he touched on such an issue....

The Jackson Mississippi Clarion Ledger (Hinds County) is calling it for Haley.
I'm still a little curious about why Hinds has only about a third of its precincts reporting.

29 Reps to 21 Dems, counting the 3 rep. gov.-elects in there. So the country is now:
1-0 R White House
51-48 R Senate
229-205 R House
10-0-3 tied appelate courts
5-4 Supreme Ct.
29-21 governorships
In other words, a big Bush win next year, with its concomitant Senate and house pickups, and the Democratic Party is looking at permanent minority status.
Go America!!

Yes. Please, please, please keep McCauliffe and Clinton around. They are the best thing to happen to the Republican party in decades.

Fox needs to get it's late night act together.
They manged to get someone out of bed to say that Barbour had won.
Ten minutes earlier they had old rerun of Cameron saying it was a nail biter and may not be known till tomorrow.
I also get irritated when they run old news tape of events
without calling it previous file film, or whatever.

Now that he has conceded, they can report in.
(Or, looking at it another way, they found out that they cannot make enough votes to span the margin of defeat, so now they can report the revised (latest) total.)

Musgrove needs a 50,000 vote margin in the remaining precincts of Hinds, which is where most of the uncounted votes remain. There might be about 50,000 votes remaining to be counted in Hinds. It is unlikely that he will win 100% of them. Odds are, that maybe Musgrove will pick up about maybe 10,000 of the 50,000 votes he needs, maybe less, much less, but not much more, leaving Barbour at 50% plus about 20,000 plus votes (40,000/2).
