Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

I am not sure if the red drink was the third picture?

I don't recall if the red drink was in that 3 photo set but could 'red drink' be Red Sea?

"Imam and Father of a Guantanamo Bay Detainee and 7 Others Held French Chechen Terrorist Crackdown

Father of Guantanamo Bay Detainee Held"

JEAN-BAPTISTE LABEUR

Associated Press

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "LYON, France - An Islamic cleric whose son is being held at the U.S. prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba was among seven people detained by French security agents Tuesday as part of an investigation into suspected terror networks.

The imam, Chellali Benchellali, was arrested at his home in the tough Minguettes high-rise neighborhood of Venissieux, a suburb of the southeastern city of Lyon, said a lawyer for the family.

Attorney Jacques Debray said the imam's wife and one of his sons, Hafid, also were detained in the sweep by the DST, France's secretive counterterrorism and counterintelligence agency.

Another of his sons, Mourad Benchellali, is among six French detainees suspected of ties to the al-Qaida terrorist network who are being held at the U.S. Navy base at Guantanamo Bay.

French agents Tuesday also arrested another imam, Mourad Merabet, who runs a pharmacy at the Minguettes, and Abdelwahed Regad, a 27-year-old quality controller at a Muslim abattoir, said friends and neighbors.

Police confirmed that five people were detained in Venissieux and said another two were arrested elsewhere in the Lyon region. There were no immediate details about the last two.

Some of those detained are believed to have provided logistical support, possibly including false papers, to suspected terrorists, police said, without providing further details."

The LDS Church (Mormon) has published good survival information.

See, e.g., http://www.providentliving.org/content/list/0,11664,2633-1,00.html

Now, I'm not Mormon, and I don't wish to offend anyone by suggesting this source of information. I think that such preparation materials are universally applicable to everyone.

You're welcome. We ordered from this company shortly after 9/11. Haven't tried the product (obviously & fortunately) but their prices seemed competitive and their service was prompt. I keep it in the fridge, was told by a family member who is a pharmacist that helps to prolong the life of a medicine. The family member pharmacist thought I was nuts, of course!

re: red drink.

Yes, it would make good sense to mean the red sea.

"ok, by now I am getting tired of those sites quoting & posting twexus pictures in some ridiculous context. I will ban referrers from freerepublic.com......"

I kinda figured that was the case. He'd mentioned FR once before, right after we learned about the site.

I wonder how he found this thread to know what has been discussed. If I hadn't bookmarked it the first day it was posted, I'd have had a heck of a time finding it again, even knowing the thread's title.
This gets "curiouser" all the time.

I can get to the site if I go via a new window, not via link from FR, I discovered.

re: Sources for food info.

If you do a google search for: NurseHealer.com and follow the links, it will take you to a collection of newsletter on survival and use of dehydrated foods. A very good site.

There are several groups at yahoo groups that are LDS based and have good info.

I sure didn't and now wish I hadn't!

I'm glad I do know, even if the knowledge leaves a lot of questions.

'Exporting America'
Thursday, January 08, 2004
Join us all this week for our special report, "Exporting America," as we take a look at U.S. companies that send American jobs overseas. We'll have a report on how Americans who have lost their jobs to H1B and L1 visa holders are fighting to stop companies from hiring non-immigrant visa holders.

'Face Off' -
Rep. James Kolbe, R-Arizona and Rep. Elton Gallegly, R-California, debate the president's proposed immigration policy.

Tonight's quote
"I oppose amnesty, placing undocumented workers on the automatic path to citizenship. Granting amnesty encourages violation of our laws and perpetuates illegal immigration."
-President George W. Bush

Tonight's thought
"Born in other countries, yet believing you could be happy in this, our laws acknowledge, as they should do, your right to join us in society, conforming, as I doubt not you will do, to our established rules."
-Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826)

LOU DOBBS TONIGHT QUICKVOTE

Which term do you think best describes those who have entered the United States illegally?

Illegal aliens
Illegal immigrants
Undocumented workers
Guest workers

"Tinfoil Hat, White Lies and Contrails"

I just got an invitation through the mail.
"Your presence requested this evening.
It's formal. Tinfoil hat, white lies and contrails."

Oh, I'm puttin' on my tinfoil hat,
Spewing up their white lies,
Brushing off up my contrails.
