[history]
Monday, November 3, 2003
A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.
The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?
The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.
Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.
DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.
Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

There's a reason that al-Qaeda doesn't get caught easily, while Clem and Festus in the Inbred Militia of Wassamatta County do.
al-Qaeda knows the value of STFU. Clem and Festus don't.

No arrests, only rumors.
This stuff goes into the "nut file" for a reason. I've read some of the stuff a neighbor of mine told the FBI about me. I really didn't know that I was an alien from Zeta Reticuli, abducting my neighbor's cat to implant a mind-control widget in its nose...

When my mother was being given last rites, the doctor said we are prepared for the worse case scenario, it is time to talk to your siblings. We made the decision, walked in her room to say our goodbye's and 'she' was sitting up. This is how I like to look at us fringe lunatics -smiles-

Do you have ANY friends? Why do you feel the need to argue with everyone?

What is your take on the ability of a mini-nuke on a fault-line to set off an earthquake?None. The energy released in a modest earthquake is bigger than a mininuke's yield. We're really pretty small potatoes compared to what the Earth can do.
If I wanted to go tinfoil I would ask about this afternoon's event (which seems a bit strange) since it shook both ends of California but occured in the middle....
What get shaken is determined solely by the underlying geology. Incidentally, I'm in San Diego, and I didn't feel a thing.

Why do you feel the need to argue with everyone?
I don't argue with everyone, just the folks who are wrong. If that includes you, tango sierra.

Like it or not, the NIN's and Debka's of the world were out in front of this Orange Alert, which is why I appreciate having them around, even if we sometimes have to debunk them I was just being obnoxious. I like them too. In fact, I miss the early days of FR when people used to post alot of heresay and rumors. It was alot of fun (the way telling ghost stories is fun) especially prior to Y2K.
There were always posts like "my cousins uncle lives in XYZ and he says he has been seeing....". None of them ever seemed to pan out but it was entertaining.

What do you care who is wrong or right? You can just state your opinion and leave it at that. But you are like a pittbull. You can't leave anything alone.

Certainly I recognize the forces and motivations you speak of.
I guess I'm just skeptical that the forces would operate as simply, straightforwardly as you outline.
Maybe I think you underestimate the numbers and influence of the 5th column commies and liberal idiots running around loose.
Also, I think we have such a built-in 'be nice' mentality even in the face of repeated kicks to the groin.
Anyway--for the record--I'd be more relieved, I think, if we did as you outlined than if we did not.
I would hope, however, that we had plenty of arms left to deal with Russia and China.
. . . . and all the mayhem that idiot traitors in country would be trying to mete out to our military and infrastructure in the process.
Chaos could still easily reign, IMHO.

But you didn't answer my question. Why can't you just state your opinion and leave it at that? Why do you have to turn everything into a fillibuster?

Yeah, still, they went on record, out on a limb about such earlier than other such.
I realize it chafes your whatevers to give them a micro gram . . . whether earned or not . . .
LOL.

You are added sweetie and we were used to being called alarmists and that was the compliment -g- But that's ok because we know it is , unfortunately, only a matter of time before the government and media catch up to us. We always alert them and we could be their source on many things, but they take their time in listening.
