Dear Republican, Over the last few months, Laura and I have traveled the country and have been humbled by the enthusiastic support we have been given. Our country has faced many challenges in the last two and half years and we are meeting these challenges at home and abroad. We're defeating the enemies of freedom. And at the same time, we're confronting challenges to build prosperity for our nation and a more compassionate society. Every test has revealed the true character of America. And no one in the world can doubt the spirit and will and strength of the American people. We are meeting the challenges of our time but there is much more to be done and I need your support. Will you join me in these efforts by volunteering for my re-election campaign as a Bush Team Leader? http://www.GeorgeWBush.com/SignUp/ As a Bush Team Leader you will be asked to help by volunteering at local events, hosting your own events, registering new voters, turning out voters on Election Day and more. Most importantly, you will be asked to recruit more Bush Team Leaders to help us win in November 2004. Please sign up to be a part of this important effort today. http://www.GeorgeWBush.com/SignUp/ The challenges we face cannot be met with timid actions or bitter words. They will be overcome with optimism and resolve and confidence in the ideals of America. We are acting to advance human freedom and liberty and making the world and America more secure. We took action to create jobs and get the economy growing again. We acted on principle. You did not send me to this office to mark time. You sent me here to restore dignity and honor to the White House and to help build a safe and prosperous and caring nation. Will you join me in this effort by becoming a Bush Team Leader and volunteer your time? http://www.GeorgeWBush.com/SignUp/ I want to thank you for the work that you will do in the months to come. There is no question in my mind that with your help we are laying the foundation to win a great victory in November of 2004.
Sincerely,
P.S. Again, thank you for making my campaign strong at the grassroots level all across the country. I am grateful to the over 300,000 Americans that have contributed to my campaign and the millions more who've signed up on the campaign email list. And I am grateful to everyone that chooses to volunteer in support of this effort. I need you to make certain your friends and family register to vote. I need you to make phone calls, send emails, help organize rallies, put up signs, and get out the vote. I need you to volunteer in my campaign today. http://www.GeorgeWBush.com/SignUp/

"Can't argue any of that. But the reality is that he is the nominee. Why dwell on what is a fait accompli?" Like I said, I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of those who claim they cannot support Dubyuh are saying so in an effort to force him to recognize that his ignoring our concerns may cost him in November 2004. Admittedly, we have nowhere else to go if we want to support a Presidential candidate with a chance to win, but Dubyuh and his supporters need to get the message that there is a cost to ignoring conservative principles in his domestic agenda. Lashing out on the World's Number One Conservative Web Forum is but one way we hope to get the message out before it is too late and the Bush Administration has squandered hundreds of thousands of votes that are rightfully the Republican nominee's!!

So you will be voting for whom? Let's see, Dean, Clark. Clinton? One issue will make you actually pehaps give us a socialist democrat in the White House who will do everything you are against, and most likely not continue to fight the terrorists? I don't get this, I just do not!

"Aww yes... the voting for the lesser of two evils argument."No, that's YOUR take, it's a strawman.
What it's truly called is "the voting for the best man that can defeat America's enemies, both foreign and domestic" argument.

"Look, I know it has taken a long time to get in the mess we're in, and it'll take a long time to get out. I'm not asking for everything at once. All I ask is to stop moving in the wrong direction. And that isn't happening, not by a longshot." A big bump to those sentiments

George Bush has done a lot of things I dont like but I damn sure am not going to vote for a Democrat or an Independant.
I voted against Bush's dad over lying and got that damn Clinton. I would rather have Vicente Fox or for that matter Castro than any Democrat on the scene.
For some of you who wish to cut off your nose to spite your face so be it.
I am for cutting out illegal immigration and he should be also because those are the ones who will give their votes to liberal Democrats but its a fact the Democrats will surely give them what they want so we are in a catch 22.
We are losing America no doubt but with the Democrats it will go much quicker. The Two Party system is killing us and we have to choose the lesser of the evils. But I dont know of anything Congress has done for any American and for those of you in California,Congress is directly responsible for the mess out there with the fires. I remember some months back when one of the Administrations women appeared before them about cutting roads through those forest for firebreaks out there and the Liberal Democrats had a fit, well its come home to roost and the rest of us will pay for it.
Bush stands for a lot of good things and we need to get on his a$$ about the bad ones but we dont need to desert him for the greater of the evils.
We all need to come together with a plan to address him and his short comings and let him know it but please dont sell out to the liberals.

That's all very nice but this thread isn't about TexasWell if you can blame me for the country moving left, I'll take credit for those areas where I work every election. I'll solve the US problem as soon as I get the whine population, LIKE YOU, under control. If I could get those that bitch because they ONLY agree with 80% of what Bush does to get onboard I'll solve ALL the problems.
Seldom do I agree with everything anyone does, sometimes I even change my own mind! BTW no one is perfect save the Lord, and when He returns He ain't running for office!

To: Mudboy Slim
Just on illegal immigration alone he's squandered at least 1-2 million votes. People in the Southwest are especially furious over his complete incompetence in handling this problem......and it's become a very serious problem. These alleged consevatives are in the process of selling out our children and grandchildren's future and that's totally inexcusable. Sorry, we need to stop drinking the RINO kool-aid and face reality.....the sooner this comes to a head, the better.

I'm writing in Tom Tancredo for President. He is one of the very few who really care about the citizens of this country.
To: Luis Gonzalez
"...the best man that can defeat America's enemies, both foreign and domestic" With all due respect, Dubyuh has blatantly refused to take on our domestic enemies, namely Bill Clinton and those within the Clinton Administration who flouted our laws for eight years.

>>"And no, I don't think the culture has changed to the extent that the American people or the Congress would totally ban abortions."
>>Congress obviously wouldn't. And the American people still wouldn't; most would rather not even think about the reality of abortion.
Then Republicans shouldn't claim they are pro-life if they don't have the courage or moral stamina to fully lead on this front. Not much gets done politically if everyone sells out because they'd rather "not even think about the reality of abortion."
Banning partial birth abortions is a good thing (though I am sure this bill won't completely eliminate the "procedure", but it's just the tip of the iceberg as to the unborn babies murdered every year from the evil practice of abortion.

"...we need to stop drinking the RINO kool-aid and face reality" Yep...the Republican base needs to hold their elected representatives accountable!! Theree's still time before now and November 2004 to right the ship, but not if we blindly go along to get along!!

Mud, there's absolutely no good in starting a situation where partisan wars develop between an incoming president and an outgoing president.
Once started, they would never end.
The job of prosecuting Bill Clinton fell on the Congress, and they dropped the ball, we should hold them accountable.
There's nothing good that can come out of what would only be perceived to be a witch hunt.
