Mud, there's absolutely no good in starting a situation where partisan wars develop between an incoming president and an outgoing president.
Once started, they would never end.
The job of prosecuting Bill Clinton fell on the Congress, and they dropped the ball, we should hold them accountable.
There's nothing good that can come out of what would only be perceived to be a witch hunt.

"Mud, there's absolutely no good in starting a situation where partisan wars develop between an incoming president and an outgoing president. Once started, they would never end." During the Impeachment Debates, the argument was forwarded that if Clinton and his associates had broken the law, he should be prosecuted for those crimes. Many of us fought hard to get Dubyuh in office so that we could get an Attorney General in power who would execute the laws and prosecute the Guilty. Ashcroft's been an abysmal failure in that regard.
We've now set the precedent that Perjury, Obstruction of Justice, and Treason are unprosecutable if committed by those at the highest echelon of the Executive Branch. That cannot be spun as a good or decent thing, imho.
