no no no, florida has attorney ad litems which as SEPERATE from the incapacity guardians. These usually involve elderly with no relatives or relatives who are convicted felons and can't by law be guardians. GAL don't have to be attorneys, only attorneys can be attorneys ad litems.
no disrespect intended.
To: GovernmentShrinker
Nonsense.
Your assuming for some reason that the hospice wants her to live.
I just showed why the hospiace (and its directors and lawyers and doctors and nurses and bathroom attendents and dishwashers!) wants her dead.

CNN's interpretation is that the guardian will be merely her "advocate," but Michael retains "decision-making power."

Thank you, dear dandelion ~ has the Governor been notified? Do you know if someone from his office is on-site to monitor? Those who stand vigil ~ is there need to stand again?
Father God, we again seek the life of Terri ~ cover her with Your protection and protect her from all harm. Strike dread and fear in the hearts of those who work against her, that they might repent and escape the wrath to come ~ in the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ~

Exactly, lab work seems to be essential right now. Beyond skin pinching, how else can they determine her hydration status?

You're so right about the Chiles appointed Supreme Court Justices. I think 2 were up for retention last year and I tried as hard as I could here on FR to pass the word but they were retained anyway. I've always thought judges were more dangerous than the legislators. They're unaccountable and there's no way for us to get information on them.

However, if she isn't terminal, why is she back at Hospice? It's not so much she is terminal, it is that they don't have in place a plan or option for rehab.....yet. They won't just keep her in the hospital if they can only do the same thing a hospice can. If the guardian (Michael) doesn't want to take care of her at his home, then he can move her to a hospice. It doesn't mean she is terminal (necessarily), but that it is being used as a "care facility".
To: Pegita
It's only a guess on my part, PYW, but I wouldn't think this is a new admission but an ongoing situation. Much like leaving your home for a Dr.'s appointment without real change in the patient's health. In the long term care facility where I used to work we had a three-day "bed hold" on residents who had to be hospitalized. I believe it was because medicaid funding would cease on the fourth day. I worked in payroll, not billing, so I'm not quite sure how it all worked.
Although I can't site the sources, I believe I read that Terri was on Medicaid and that she had once worked in an insurance agency. I assume Michael has some large life insurance policies on her.

//This is without a doubt the first documented case for the whole world to see of murder for the dissabled ordered by the courts Of USA...MSNBC is going to be talking about this after commercial//
Not the first one to happen, however. But by refusing to die off Terri is bringing the spotlight on some really evil people.

Actually, the news said that FELOS said she was going into organ failure. I've seen no other source for that claim, and I don't give anything he says much credence. The fact that she moved back to the hospice suggests to me that no such thing happened, and that doctors at the hospital determined she no longer needed any treatment besides the IV and feeding tube, which could be handled at the hospice.

WHY CAN'T THE JUDGE DO A GAG ORDER ON THE PARTIES BECAUSE FELOS IS COMMITTING PERJURY ON NUMEROUS CHANNELS. Unless Felos is under oath, he is not committing perjury. And I doubt at this point that the judge would issue a gag order.

We need to really support the disability organization that is going to be doing an investigaton but right now we just need to continue to pray that her kidneys recover.

Yea, this statement sums it up very well!!!! But I think there is so much money involved that the "fiancee" will stick around (after all she has a delivery coming) indefinitely to collect! Would that she have her baby tonight! I'd think it safer for her to get the money by making some photocopies of some records while Michael's busy running around, then disappearing and sending an anonymous note with a copy of some records and a suggestion that he and Felos might want to scrape up $500,000 and wire it to an offshore bank.
