Michael does NOT want Terri to regain any mental function whatsoever.
What does he have to lose?
Possibly his future payments from any outside source.
Possibly his freedom.
In otherwords, just about everything.
I understand your theory of wanting to 'negotiate' a deal with him, and were he a regular, upstanding guy, that would make sense. However, he is not and he will persue any avenue available to ensure his financial future.

It was bad.
She had a bunch of lawyers lamenting their loss of power. Did you hear Geoffrey Fieger say this is why we NEED Kevorkian?

For the 100 time this week: sorry for the typos.

Yeah, she asked good questions but after listing to him I couldn't put up with the right to die guy too. Anyone that can track with their eyes and recognize their mother and smile ,will feel pain. He should fast of food and water for 6 days himself and then come back and tell us how he feels. Think he could even go 24 hours?

"....envisioning their fall...." I hope you are right. But I always try to imagine what the Hillary's, the United Nations, of this world want. And that is for our Constitution to be null and void. For our borders to cease to exist. We will all be Citizens of the World.

"Does anyone have Felos e-mail?" It is posted somewhere on this thread...more than once I believe. LOL! I know that doesn't help you much if you're anything like as tired as I am from these long threads. I think Ragtime Cowgirl might have it.

Have you seen posted yet exactly WHY this law is unconstitutional? As I understood it from watching the House session, it is about the legislative and judicial branches staying separate and not overruling each other.

They didn't overrule each other, as I recall. Did they?

Baden? Doubtful :-)
I could not believe he said Terri couldn't feel pain. Unreal. Where are all the physicians who submitted testimony that Terri is not PVS? Why is the minority submitted as the majority opinion?
The PR on this case is horrid.
Greta should be freeped. She needs another show with real experts as guests.

It really is like a horror movie. We don't have to imagine what Nazi Germany was like. We're seeing it rise again. God help us.

The judge wasn't overruled though (much to my frustration). The judge followed the law as he interpreted. The legislators now have changed the law so he needs to follow it now, as far as I'm concerned.

"Who was the other attorney citing the Supreme Ct decision that would render the legislative action to stay Terri's starvation unconstitutional?"
Last name was Pod-something. I think he was associated with Nova University.

Baden very much disappointed me. All of them on Gretas show are IDIOTS.

ATTENTION ALL FREEPERS! I have something for us to do.
It is obvious by the records that Schiavo is committing medicare fraud. If he lives in that house were they added the $15,000 pool then he is hiding assets, and marital assets through the girlfriend. I saw an interview on 20/20 or something with him and he said "No, it isn't about the money. I don't need the money. I work for a living." So, this is where FReepers can FReep the heck out of the Federal Office of the Inspector General for a Medicare fraud complaint.
HHSTips@oig.hhs.gov FReep on!

Oh come on, don't get sarcastic.
Florida has a Right-to-Die law. I will try to find the amendment - when I get a breath here.

I agree. Bless Ms. Anderson, and who knows if she's doing it pro bono or even donating her time, but the Schindlers need some serious legalistic muscle and PR.

"This is definitely a spiritual battle going on here. We need to keep standing firm in our faith and resisting the devil. When we do he will run. The battle's not over, but the victory is won. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world." SO important to remember.

Yes, I realize MS is acting in bad faith here. That he does not want Terri to regain function.
But the idea I'm trying to convey is, make him refuse it publicly.
That will show that he is acting in bad faith. Because why would he refuse? There are no decent reasons to refuse such an offer, if he means what he says.
It would demonstrate that he does NOT mean what he says.
(I am writing like I misplaced 40 IQ points, yes. Been at this site, on Terri threads, solid for over a week.)

We will see that it makes no difference what the FL Constitution say. What will matter is what the FL Supreme Court (mostly Chiles Democrats) say it says. This court is as bad as the one in NJ.

"Greta Van Susteran is going to be talking about Terri coming up....at least that is what I think I heard!"
Strangely enough, Greta was the most sympathetic to the situation. Stating the case perfectly....said she wouldn't do her dog that way.
Dr. Michael Baden is on my list with Judge Napolitano(sp) now. We knew where Feiger would stand.
