It should impart perhaps a little more prestige than being nominated for the Florida Recall Governor's race, but not much. Hey, don't give that to Florida, it was Cah-lee-for-nee-ah that had the honor of recalling its governor. I think you guys want to keep your :-)

Judge Greer and Judge Cope refused to hear Felo's injunctive relief hearings on the guardianship and vs. Jeb Bush. Judge Baird ruled for Terri but Felos has five days to send him a Brief. That's where we are at right now. All the big satellite trucks rolled back in today as we waited for word and the situation was very fluid. I have about 500 new friends. (except for a cop or two lol).

Was he also involved in the Jason Childress case? Does he have a webpage/organization he can monitor?
To: Thumper1960
yes. too bad he never applied that thought to himself. He's obviously imperfect. I refuse to remember his name.

Here's hoping Michael Schiavo doesn't.It is so nice to see the tide turned isn't it? I was thinking he and Felos both will have a rough night...I tried to feel sad but it just wasn't there. :-)

We actually agree. I've told my wife (don't worry, I'l be putting it in writing this week), that if I get terminal cancer and I get to the point that I can't eat anymore, I want the following in my "drip" : Jack Daniels, then versed, then after I'm asleep, pump the morphine.
Anything short of a hopeless terminal situation (attested by 2 doctors), for me it will be RAGE, RAGE AGAINST THE DYING OF THE LIGHT!

Various Catholic freepers have said an annullment is impossible, because Terri is not able to initiate such an action.

And isn't it simple? I can tell you that God probably has a universe-sized smile on his face. If this feels wonderful here, can you imagine what heaven is like?

" In the meantime, we all have much to be grateful for... but this doesn't erase the fact that she should have had a DNR."
That assumes that she in fact wanted to be killed. It's also possible that she (like me) assumed that in the case of no living will, the law would default to her being allowed to live.
Before this, I would never even have thought that my spouse's word ALONE could be used to put me to death.
So we have the luxury of learning a lesson that Terri never got a chance to: Don't assume that just because you don't ask to die, they won't kill you anyway.

>>>Isn't there a statute of limitations?
There have already been cases that have set precidence over the statues running out. So those could be argued.
There will be more coming out from investigations into Felos, Greer, the Senator, the hospice, et al. Murder may not be proven persay, but we never know.

LIBERTYANDJUSTICEFORALL WROTE TO JORGE: "Terri is not in a coma, despite all the headlines and media stating earlier today that she was a "comatose woman". The media gets stuff wrong all the time; just like the courts and judges like Greer."
LIBERTYANDJUSTICEFORALL ADDED:
"Terri is severely disabled."
"Her parents want to take care of her."
"Her husband wants her dead."
"It is that simple."
EXACTLY!!! It IS that simple!!!

Peter Singer has written and proposed that we have centers set up all over the country where parents could "turn in" their infant up to 6 months or older. In case they didn't like it for some reason. It's not really human yet you see.
If you want to know more about Peter Singer I have some stuff socked away on him I can share with you.
