TALLAHASSEE, FL -- According to a news release sent by the Terry Schindler-Schiavo Foundation, Florida Speaker Johnnie Byrd will introduce "Terri's Bill" during the special session Monday.
The bill would put an immediate moratorium on all dehydration and starvation deaths in Florida. Meanwhile, supporters of Terri Schiavo showed up Sunday outside a Pinellas Park hospice.
Doctors say Schiavo has been in a vegetative state since complications from a heart attack in 1990. Her husband was granted a court order that her feeding tube be removed, saying his wife wouldn't have wanted to be kept alive.

It's more than apparent that the Bill will pass, sometime today.
Jeb should be on his way to that hospice RIGHT NOW with a convoy of State Troopers, prepared to deliver life-saving water to that poor woman who's dying by the minute!
There's NO EXCUSE for any more delay for "procedural matters". He can go back later and sign the Bill!
A lady is DYING!

AMEN!!!
Someone help me find Jeb's phone # I dont' recall which thread it was on, I'm lost.
To: windchime
I wish Jeb would direct somebody to arrest him for adultery.
To: Lovergirl
Maybe he and Felos will have a flat tire or run out of gas on the way????

Thanks again for keeping this running commentary. Excellent new on the vote. Of course the next question is how soon can Jeb sign this bill and Terri be put back on the nourishment line.
I have heard much talk up of Terri's plight on radio and tv today. Such excellent work by all you folks. Dr Laura of the radio show did a good summary and her opinion during her show today. Her opinion was the MS person should divorce Terri and let the parents care for her.

Why won't they just give up?
I mean, the more they do, the more evil they appear. Now would be a great time to say "the people have spoken" and bow out (and move to Antartica).

Maybe he will get to the courthouse BEFORE Jeb signs the bill and the judge will laugh him out because it ain't even law yet???????
To: najida
I don't want to argue with you, but I will need more evidence before I say that. Why wasn't this done last week? So many questions here. I will praise him after I find out. I am glad he finally did something, and if I am wrong, I will admit to it. I hope he was a hero.. I want to believe he was too.

If they bow out they won't get a check.....

You and I think alike! I suggested exactly that earlier today. I think a group of state troopers could brush aside a bunch of hired security guards with no problem. I guess the only question is whether he has to sign the actual piece of paper hand-delivered by the clerk of the legislature or can he symbolically sign a fax copy on-site.

Folks, I pray that we will ALL take some time to lift our voices to heaven in thanks and honor to God. We have prayed so hard and He has been faithful to us to answer using man as the vessel to spare Terri Schiavo's life. Please, everyone, let us set everything aside and thank Him. He is truly moving still and we need to see from this what we can accomplish in this country when we place our complete trust and faith in Him. Oh yes indeed. FATHER WE DO lift our PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING TO YOU. PRAISE YOUR HOLY AND RIGHTOUS NAME.!!!
