Congrats to the entire fund-raising team. Jolly well done!

Wish I could throw a party Saturday night for the whole crew with a champaign fountain, good eats by Chef Carlo, a rockin' band, and the dancing hamsters (what ever happened to them, anyhow?)

Take a well-deserved bow, gang!

Leni

Here is the link to the DUer's thread, where it tried to run Jim down. We probably ended up with at least an extra thousand bucks thanks to this creep.

WHO thought up the Funkle in the first place???

I'm not sure, but I'm beginning to think it was a part of another VRWC. I mean: I was under the impression that one fair funkle would bring me fortune! (Fortune is better than fame, you know; it's riches without stalkers.) ... Well, here I am, still busy and broke, but fairly funkled enough to ensure that fortune's gonna arrive any day now! It's better to remain optimistic, don't you agree? (I think fortune said the check's in the mail.) ;)

GO GET A LIFE!

Not to worry! As soon as that check arrives, I'm going to buy one!

BTW....I never got around to thanking you for posting those two REALLY PRETTY pictures of the kitchens. The ones with blue countertops, I believe. One was a view of the "sewing room" side, the other the kitchen itself.

Absolutely beautiful. Thanks mucho much.

Oh, when you get that check from wherever, if it's big enough, you can have my kitchen done like that! Thanks! :-)

Oh, speaking of sewing rooms....someone's coming by tomorrow to pick up the furniture from our son's bedroom. He moved a couple of years ago, and it's just been sitting in there. I GET A SEWING ROOM!!!!! YIPPPEEEEEEEEE

I GET A SEWING ROOM!!!!! YIPPPEEEEEEEEE

That calls for some official "quilted" banners:

I saw this office remodel on hgtv earlier. I want it! (Along with the big kitchen and other stuff, of course.)

You can tell that office doesn't belong to a writer though. I mean: There are hardly any books! (I used to have 2 rooms pretty much devoted to books and lots of others spread throughout the house.) ;)

(You're welcome for the earlier sewing room pictures, btw.)
