Staff at Publishing house Hachette have threatened to quit unless the company cancels its association with JK Rowling and scraps plans to publish her new book because they argue the author is ‘transphobic’.
The Daily Mail reported that “Staff in the children’s department at Hachette announced they were no longer prepared to work on the book” over Rowling’s recent assertions that biological sex is real and that there are only two genders.

I’ve heard that JK Rowling is actually quite liberal and Progressive on many issues.
But to say something that doesn’t adhere to the current thinking on all this transsexual business, is apparently a crime against humanity.

IMHO, Hachette should let them quit. Those brown-shirt wannabees are too ignorant to be associated with “publishing”.
Publishing is what’s called a “vanity” profession as the pay is low for the most part but there is a certain cache to saying you’re in publishing so most people who work at publishers are a dime a dozen. Also, if Rowling wants, she can self publish and will make exponentially more to Hatchett will end up losing millions of dollars in a business that relies on a couple of successes in order to keep the doors open.
She’s likely a billionaire or very close to it. She can easily go around them. Laughable incompetence of the protesters. Hell, she could set up shop and print them herself.
