Democrat Andrew Gillum holds a six-point lead over Republican Ron DeSantis in the race to be Florida’s next governor.
The first Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of the race finds that Gillum earns 48% support to DeSantis’ 42% among Likely Florida Voters. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and eight percent (8%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Among voters who say they are certain to vote in the upcoming election, Gillum leads 49% to 44%.

I’ve seen lots of Gillum signs around as I drive, no DeSantis at all.
He stabbed President Trump in the back! Governor has no power to enact any laws. Florida will survive Gillum. I will vote for Rick Scott for Senator. He didn't side with the President but the Senate is too important to be petty over. Governor's race not so much.
The left in Florida deserve a Socialist Governor if nothing more than to see how idiotic Socialists are. I can move very easily if they enact an income tax (which is the only reason I stay here).

My 300 condo complex is full of transplants from East coast. On woman in my building from Massachusetts still has John Kerry for President bumper sticker on her car.
Right now, democrats have more energy and they support anyone with (D) behind their name. If negative Ads against Gillum become more visible and frequent, he will lose many affluent democrats in Florida.
Exactly - people move from their s-hole northern states to the south with the better economies, then vote as they did in the north. And then can’t figure out what happened.
I think we need a rule - you move to a new state, can’t vote in a state election for 10 years. Also wouldn’t help to force the person to get some basic civics education before allowing them to vote.
