Democratic lawmakers are suing President Donald Trump over foreign money flowing into his global business empire.
Almost 200 senators and representatives are plaintiffs in a lawsuit alleging Trump is violating the so-called emoluments clause of the Constitution. It's being filed early Wednesday in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the lawmakers said.
The plaintiffs argue they have standing to sue because the clause says only Congress may approve foreign gifts and payments.....

I was just about to post this, albeit from a different source, but you saved me the effort.
The Democrats called the Republicans obstructionists? The Republicans were never this bad with Obama. We have riots, continual protests, vitriol and mock executions, unprecedented obstruction (longest delay in approving Cabinet) accusations of collusion with a foreign power to hack his opponents’ emails for political gain, Democrats calling for and starting impeachment, and now he is being accused of violating the emoluments clause? He isn’t taking gifts from foreign governments. People renting out rooms in his properties is not a gift! Plus we have the Democrat media with leaks from Dems/neocons in our intelligence agencies as well as their constant negativity and attacks.
It’s a continual, ridiculous tantrum, and it indicates they must be afraid of him because he can’t be controlled and is no one’s puppet.
If he is the inept idiot they say he is, why not just attack him on policy and cruise to a win in the next elections? They don’t want to do that which is very revealing.
With the way these people have behaved, I don’t want to see them elected to power again.
It’s a shame Trump’s side (the feckless Republicans) are too afraid of negative headlines on CNN and in the Washington Post/New York Times to fight fire with fire.
What else can they do? The Russian narrative appears to be going nowhere, so now it’s time to pivot. Their base will go right along with it.
