Democratic vice-presidential nominee Sen. Tim Kaine (D., Va.) said Thursday that youve got to respect San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernicks decision to sit down during the national anthem as a sign of protest of Americas treatment of minorities, adding he would do it differently if it were him.
At Thursday nights game against the San Diego Chargers, which will feature a Salute to the Military event, Kaepernick is expected to sit again during the national anthem. Good Morning America host George Stephanopoulos asked Kaine about it during the latters run of media appearances Thursday morning.
Youre the father of a Marine. Whats your reaction to Colin Kaepernick? Stephanopoulos asked.
You know, youve got to respect peoples ability to act according to their conscience, Kaine said. I mean, Id do it differently. I think if you really thought about issues and this country, youd do it differently, and when I heard him explain his rationale, didnt really make that much sense to me. But youve got to respect peoples ability to act according to their conscience, so I wouldnt presume to tell him what to do.(continued)

Kaine has his first Biden moment........
Yes. Keep talking, Mr. Kaine...
Vote Trump!
Kaine just backed a guy who wears pig cop socks. Nice.
You know, youve got to respect peoples ability to act according to their conscience,
Except when it comes to their religious convictions. Then you’re a criminal.
Attaboy, Timmy . . You and Kaep keep it up
MORE VOTES FOR TRUMP
TIMMAY! is almost as big an idiot as The Idiot Biden, but not quite.....
He was trying to weasel around the question but failed.
How about respecting a fetus’s right to life? Huh you POS.
I do.
About as much as I respect that ignorant s**t who carries around that mattress.
Stephie pitches a softball over the plate... Kaine swings and misses!
It pains me to have an allegiance toward a country that slaughters its unborn by “rule of law.” Nevertheless I respect the blessings conferred by the Creator upon this land where we are free . . . at least for now . . . to have a say in how this country is governed. Would not be the case if Joe Quarterback had is way. So I honor the flag.
No I don’t.
No I don’t.
L
So I guess Tim is all for people acting according to their conscience and not respecting “gay marriage” or asserting their religious liberty and objections to things they deem immoral or irreligious ?
Good Timmy, glad to see your consistency . .right?
Yes, I can respect him for standing up for his views.
His views, however, are - at best - stupid.
For review:
Yes, you have freedom to say something I don’t like.
And I have the same freedom to say things about it that you don’t like.
BTW: There’s also freedom of association. Freedom to say something I don’t like doesn’t mean I have to associate with you anyway.
Kaine? You mean the guy who agreed to be Hillary’s insurance?
Bwahahahahaha! Yeah, tell us something else he stands for. Go ahead, anything will do, I’m in a good mood, I’m eating camo ice cream, watching Facebook satellites blow up and billionaires spat, and studying the geometry of Miss Texas not hitting the plate, all while Trump puts on a snorkle to breath past the tidal wave of money crashing his server while Mexico craps its pants - it’s been a good day!
And this surprises you coming from the imbecilic left?
