Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and running mate Mike Pence will visit flood-damaged areas of Baton Rouge, La. Friday.
Record flooding across Louisiana has killed at least 13 people. Over 85,000 people have registered for federal disaster assistance, more than 30,000 have been rescued, and an estimated 40,000 homes have been damaged.
Trump addressed the flooding at a rally in Charlotte, N.C. Thursday night, calling Louisiana “a state that is very, very special to me.”
Trump is now kicking her sick a$$ into oblivion. AMERICA is winning the OLYMPICS. It is a new nationalism!! Hillary is frozen!! GO TRUMP!!!!!!!! AMERICA.

He can't really do anything there... he can't marshal local or Federal resources, and there are too many affected for him to personally take care of.
The MSM will play this as pandering, and even as causing a distraction that hinders ongoing efforts.
If either Hillary or Obama went there, I would think the same of their appearance.
I hope Trump can do or say something that's effective enough to rise above such skepticism.

Baton Rouge is a college area so would venture that there are a lot of Democrats. Lived in Lake Charles (about two hours drive west of Baton Rouge) for a couple of years. Everybody there but me was a Democrat. Edwin Edwards served in the Legislature for about 8 years and then was Governor for another two terms. King of crooked southern lawmakers. Politics in Louisiana is something else.
Let’s see if this comes back to bite Obama the way Katrina took down Bush.....

I hear Hillary is busy with her rich Fundraisers the next couple of days. The Queen has no time for those Bitter Clinger types in Louisiana.
Besides, a whole bunch of those Louisiana Folks make their living in the Oil Industry, and we know that Liberals hate Big Oil, unless their Private Jets needs a fill up.
BTW - I wonder where the new Democrat Governor will be, meeting Trump Force One on the tarmac?

The problem in Flint is with lead leeching out of the service lines to individual homes. The solution is to replace them all. Typically feeds to individual homes are the responsibility of the homeowner. I’m not sure it’s any government’s responsibility to replace them. Flint has been getting all the attention, but I’m sure there are many other urban areas with older homes that have the same problem. There is no way this is a problem for the Feds.
Her Thighness will be in Louisiana on Saturday - bet on it. What’s good about all this is that cankles is now REACTING, Trump is setting the tone now!
I have two tickets to see Trump in Dimondale michigan at 3:30 pm tomorrow. Wondering if that’s been cancelled.
