Donald Trump has a big problem with women.
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee lags 23 points behind Hillary Clinton with women, according to an NBC/Wall Street Journal poll taken in April. It's become conventional wisdom that the combination of Clinton's gender and Trump's spotty record with women will lead to him getting crushed with female voters in November. But that's not necessarily the case.
First of all, Clinton isn't as strong with women as she looks. Bernie Sanders beat Clinton by seven points among women in New Hampshire. A full 82 percent of women under 30 supported the male Sanders over the "feminist" former first lady. Last month, a Fox News poll showed Clinton's support among women had nose-dived by 11 points, while Sanders jumped nine points. A report last week revealed that Clinton's internal polling on "gender talk" the kind she uses at every turn wasn't working. Believe it or not, Trump has a real opening to make a play for women voters.
How can he do it? Here are four ways.
1. Remember the '90s.
Trump has already demonstrated that bringing up Bill Clinton's past infidelity is an effective tactic....

I will be so glad when/if we are ever able to move past gender politics. I hear people (on TV, anyway) say they support Hillary as it’s time we “had a woman President”.
Next, it will be “time we had an lgbt President”. Enough with the gender mania. I am a woman, and think it’s time we had a successful businessman who has built an empire, hired thousands, navigated the corrupt political world, and slogged through sometimes over regulated rules to get things done as President.
Shitlery has been sucking off the grubment teat for so long ...
Isn’t Hillary behind Trump in the male vote?
Promise a Guaranteed Annual Income to single women. That is how he could get a majority of the women’s votes. Of course that would shed the men’s vote pretty thoroughly. Women vote for a Husband and Protection, not, in the aggregate, for anything else.
NBC/WSJ poll...nuf’ said.
Clinton s doomed with men but we never see a peep in the media about here male vote problem.
Donald does o.k. with real women. he don’t need to turn anything around. He may not do well with the NOW skanks or Rosie O’Donnell, but what red blooded man does? Saying a man does not do well with these types is paying him a complement.
Maybe lift the sales tax on bras?
I've been saying this all along. There's something in the DNA of most females that looks to the Alpha Male in a crisis. It's the "who would you choose to save you if you were marooned on a deserted island" thing. When women get in the poll booth, in greater numbers than those who talk about their choice, look at their choice: hillary who let those men in her charge die because she was too lazy or too stupid to take action in Benghazi vs Trump who solves every problem he encounters way before it spins out of control.
Then there's that factor that has younger dem women voting for Sanders. That's totally understandable. Their generation is mostly way past playing the "female victim" card.
Trump's female deficit? Logic says not so much.
I disagree with the premise. Trump does not have a “problem with women”.
Trump doesn’t need to bend over backwards for the lowest female denominator. There will always be the brain-dead who only vote for a female orifice or a boyfriend figure, respectively. Enough kowtowing to the Trigglypuff 3%.
Trump needs to do exactly what he’s doing.
“NBC/WSJ poll...nuf said.”
Exactly...
Andrea needs to stop treating these fake polls as if they were gospel. Trump has a problem with the women who inhabit the Washington D.C-New York-LA-SF areas and those educated at Wellesley. In flyover country not so much. I know it just anecdotal, but here in MI I talk to a lot of people about Trump and politics in general, even the last two weekends in Ann Arbor while watching NCAA Softball. I can tell you it is rare to find men or women who do not support Trump. The polls these journalists depend upon are all fake and designed not to measure public opinion but rather to shape it. I suspect that most of these polls are done in big cities I mentioned where there are a plethora of progressives both D’s and R’s. It is my experience out here in flyover country that the polls are missing very much of the deep support for Trump, because the polls are designed and executed in such a way to miss his support. The media want to sink Trump (not Andrea she is a supporter) and most of all they want a political horse race to report on. Do not believe the polls.
“...look at their choice: hillary who let those men in her charge die because she was too lazy or too stupid to take action in Benghazi vs Trump who solves every problem he encounters way before it spins out of control.”
Very well said; bears repeating
One of the subconscious drivers of this election will the revenge of the “manosphere” on our feminized leadership class. The young—who have been browbeaten and degraded by feminist teachers and bosses their entire lives—may well take their revenge on the tone setters of this country who have deprived males of their manhood, and females of the men they naturally yearn for. In the presence of an alpha like Trump—and no he’s not an “ideological” conservative—people respond to the impulses of nature: men are generally the leaders, women the followers (sorry ladies).
I don’t buy the premise, though I’m sure the press would like us to believe Trump has a problem with women. I think he’s headed for a landslide victory. Look for Peter Jennings style “trantrum” comments afterwards.
I would love Tantaros to be Trump’s press secretary.
