owa radio host Steve Deace -- who was one of Ted Cruz's most important backers in the first primary state and who has a nationally syndicated radio show -- recently asked his followers on Twitter whether they want Senator Ted Cruz to publicly endorse Donald Trump.
The results show that 83% say no, while only 17% say they want Cruz to use his political capital to help Trump.

IMHO, Cruz is well on his way to becoming the next Ron Paul. The fringe candidate that runs every year as the "real constitutionalist," does well in caucus states, but never manages to get enough voter support to win anywhere else.
If Cruz wants to spend his career tilting at windmills (as Ron Paul did) then I hope he enjoys the limelight, because that is all he will accomplish.
...if he ever expects my vote...he better
Cruz thinks he can use his delegates to insert a “conscience clause” for 2020, so that Cruz can win on the first ballot even if he loses the election. There was an article on the subject awhile back.
Roger Stone is still keeping an eye on Rafael:

Statistics do not apply to n=1.
Proven Liar Cruz voted FOR ObamaTRADE for his wife,
for his loans, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS SECRET.
Cruz is more likely to steal VOTES than act like a man.
If Cruz has any political brains & street samrts left,...he will not only fully endorse Donald Trump, but, he will campaign heavily for him!!! If not, his political career has ended, right now!!! End of story!!!
And.....that is the same big ditto for weak sister Paul Ryan!!!
Can you explain this bizarre concept a little better?
Yes...caught Michael Medved...Jebhead... talking about that the other day
cruz = luze
“What difference does it make?”
Ted Cruz is a wholly owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs.
They pay his household two million dollars every three years.
Ted will never endorse any candidate who would secure the borders. He and by extension all of his followers will (and already have) even side with Muslims who physically attack the supporters of any such candidate.
The short answer is no.
Cruz’s answer to that question will reveal who he is. He took the pledge. Why does the question even have to be asked? Jeb? Exposed. Ted. We’ll see, won’t we.
Wow, to add to my earlier thought . . . 80 percent plus of Cruz supporters want him to break the pledge? Guess that reveals something about them, too.
Yea, this is the part I don’t understand.
Cruz, because of his youth, was perfectly positioned to ride Trump’s coattails into the 2020 nomination (should Trump lose) or the 2024 election (as Trump’s heir apparent).
He could have sewn up the VP nomination this go round, which would have set himself up for the future.
Instead, he’s doing the self-destruct thing.
Had Cruz been president during WWII, rather than ally with Russia to beat Germany, he would have told the the Russians where to shove it, because they weren’t with us at the beginning of the war.
It’s like the guy can’ see the bigger, long term picture.
You have to be able to think like Ted Cruz and Glenn Beck to understand the concept.
It is not that the concept was poorly stated. The concept is delusional.
He and others need to rally 'round Trump. We sure as hell do NOT need the Clinton crime family nor Bernie the Bolshevik in our beloved White House! Cruz was and is a strong supporter of RKBA. He is one of only four US Senators rated A PLUS by GOA. Surely he will see the need to prevent blatant gun-grabbers from taking over in Washington.
There have long been signals that careerist “grass roots conservatives” were going to withhold support from Trump. They want to fund raise off opposing Trump on this issue or that. In the end that is all this is about. Money.
At this point Cruz seems delusional. If he thinks he can try to undercut Trump so we loss again, and that the common folks will not recognize such an effort for what it is, he is a fool.
Now for all I know he might succeed. we need every vote this season I Cruz can pull away 5 to 20 % of his supporters, which seems to be around 9 to 14 % of the republican party, well he might just succeed.
But either way I think that will be the end of his political future. The only possible path forward he has to mend fences with the 85% of republican voters that stand with Trump is to come out, endorse trump and work to reconcile those voters who like Cruz to Trump being he candidate. Work for victory in 2016. Any other path will show him to be a self centered politician with no ethical stance but the drive for personal power.
That said he still has until around June 7th to endorse Trump, after the final primaries. Might even be better for his endorsement at that later date, to give folks who really believed in him some time to settle down.
At this point I doubt anybody cares what Cruz does. He is now the pariah of the party. Reince Priebus basically told him not to bother to show up at the convention last week. He will not be missed.
