Ted Cruzs campaign manager is calling on GOP frontrunner Donald Trump to drop out of the race if he fails to clinch a majority in his home state primary later this month.
If he doesnt get over 50 percent, he should probably consider dropping out, like everyone else has when they dont win their home state in a dramatic fashion, Cruz campaign manager Jeff Roe said in an interview on ABC News Powerhouse Politics podcast Thursday.
While quipping that he doesnt expect the GOP frontrunner to take his advice, Roe also acknowledged that Trump is the huge favorite headed into the New York primary and that it is an away game for Cruz, who did little to invite the New York vote when earlier in the campaign cycle he criticized Trump for having New York values.
Im assuming Donald is very strong in his home state, Roe said.
Still, Roe said the campaign sees a path for Cruz to walk away with at least some delegates from the Empire State...

Yes, but think about how many pennies are in circulation
at any one time and how that affects marketing and recognition.
Exactly. Cruz should drop out if he fails to get the majority in NY. Makes about as much sense.
As it stands, the math says he's got quite the uphill battle to get the delegates he needs. It might be possible, but it ain't plausible that he would reach the magic #. The fact that he's still in the race just means he doesn't care about America, he only cares about himself and thwarting the will of the voters, and that he is a typical scumbag politician.
“I realize things are slow around your house ....”
I think you nailed it very well ... we owe you a drink !!!
*facepalm*
Reality, what a concept!
Want to hear something HILARIOUS? Yesterday, when Cruz was in the Bronx, he was having a non-publicized meeting in an eatery and two “Rappers” confronted him.
Chilean-American brothers Rodrigo and Gonzalo Venegas - were present but it was unclear which one was shouting. After they chewed Cruz out ; “A second protester who made it to the door of the eatery taunted Cruz: ‘You got to be born in America to be president! Don’t waste your time!”
BTW Cruz was “meeting” with an interesting group. One of which is a NYC, NY State Democrat, a hispanic - Ruban Diaz. Lookie there! LOL.
Cruz's favorables from same website are only 32 percent, and Trump's numbers are skewed by BS polls like AP's, which claims that only 30 percent of Republicans support Trump, despite his consistent numbers in the 40s and near 50s.
Bubba, inbreeding has stolen your ability to discern reality.

Damn. Cruz is desperate. Why didnt Cruz do the same in Texas? Wed be rid of him now. Ugh!

How many people were in teh race when Texas was decided?
How many now?
Roe is baiting Trump to do a stupid tweet, OTOH we note that Trump has changed his schedule to spend more time in NY perhaps things are afoot in their internal polling?
The past 3 months Ted Cruz’s unfavorables have gone almost straight up and his favorables have gone down, with still 14% undecided.
That tells us that the more the American public learns about Cruz, the more they dislike him.
Cruz was sitting senator and should have gotten above 50 percent, but didn't, because Texans hate the fake Texan with the weird mutant nose and bread for a face.
The past 3 months Donald Trump’s unfavorables have gone almost straight up and his favorables have gone down, with no one left who is undecided.
Everyone has a strong opinion about Donald Trump and 70% of those opinions are bad.
This is contradicted even by the BS Huffington Post average you posted which shows it pretty steady going back almost a year, before Trump swept the South which Cruz was supposed to win, but didn't, because Southerners don't like slimy, mutant car salesmen with high favorability numbers LOL.

The more Americans get to know him, the more they dislike him. Two more weeks and Cruz’s numbers will be the same as TRump’s.
There’s actually a much stronger argument that Cruz should drop out now.
Everyone (even the Cruz camp) admits that Trump will head into the convention with far more delegates than Cruz, and will be the leader.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but for at least the last 100 years, the candidate arriving at the convention with the most delegates has ended up as the nominee. Am I wrong on that? Wonder how long it’s been since the guy in second going in took the nomination.
-—I think the idea was to tweak Trumps nose, its call brinkmanship. What, you thought only Trump could play?-—
Yup...I read it that way...
Probably trying to get Trump to use his number one campaign tool...Twitter.
It’s been working so well lately.../ S
